Wondering what I think of it after watching this? Huh?
Honestly I forced myself to watch the whole drama! It was so boring unlike what you might have heard! It’s something like Full House. A forced marriage for financial reasons and balh balh balh but all that in bigger scales. I don’t know what is all the fuss about this drama really?
The story about a guy from a Monarchy family
who marries to a girl from an Ordinary family
In comparison to the FH they’ve done way worse job, still wondering why people who actually watched the FH are the fan of GOONG?
The story is about the imaginary Korean Crown King that has been forced to marry this not so good looking yet cheerful girl but he is in love with his secret lover (a ballerina) who rejected his proposal cuz she didn’t wanted to get traped by living in the palace, instead wanted to carry on her dreams!
Since no emotion involves in the marriage the couples are forced by the elders in the palace and the other people around to share bed and act being deeply in love! So some funny incidents happen as a result but that’s about it!
One of the most patheic attempts was these bears at the end
of each episoids which resembled the people in the story!
What was even more pathetic than the bears was the fact that they all went to the same school!
I think the sexual texture in the drama and the drama’s age group is what made it all big! But what is now huge about Goong is the controversies over making the 2nd part!
Apparently the company refused at first to make such plans after all tears and letters of the fans, complaining mostly due to financial reasons. Also bringing up the fact that they can’t afford to pay the main charcaters since they are on the peak of their career in the industry! Thus, another company made up of fired employees of Goong 1 came up with the Goong 2 (the one se7en is playing in) when the original company heard the news they freaked out and called this plagiarism and took their case to the court. Then suddenly they announced they are making the Goong 2 themselves and it will contain all the original casts ( found the treasure or s.th?). Therefore made the other company change the name to Goong S! As of now despite all the threats to the GOONG S the filming is in the process!

VS. GOONG S (what’s the S stands for anyways? Se7en?)
Anyways, as I’m typing this, the on going battle is still in heat between the two upcoming series! and Se7en’s fans are shedding tears that why the first drama of their beloved singer has to involve such struggles.
 Meanwhile just a curious thought: Is this gonna be the concept and all GOONG 2 has to say? *shaking head*
                           
As far as I know the original series was based on the comic book with the same title! Thus Goong 1 was not that original after all! By the way the staff of Goong S has a permission from the comic book creature! but this is not apparently enough to shut the goong 1 makers up!
