Dear Shenyue,

I think it's probably rather overreacting to say what you've said, but that can be understood coming from a real fan.

In my opinion, Jeong-hoon probably want to stay true to his Korean identity and at the same time want to have a name that's easy to remember, pronounce and also close home. A tad closer to his fan. Considering the place is Japan, how many celebrity could have had a name such as John Hoon?

If he's thinking of expanding his career beyond Korea and Japan, "John Hoon" is really quite acceptable, though not really "Outstanding"...but then who needs an "Outstanding name" when one has a very "Outstanding talent", right? It's all about Talent.

So, my point is he chose the name for personal and professional reasons, and the name is not bad too. Thus, we should respect his decision. To me, though he become John Hoon or Kim John Hoon or some other names...He remains as the multi-talented artiste Kim Jeong Hoon, the one and only.

I already know that JOHN got created b/c that's how they pronounced JEONG DEAR!!!! That’s why I'M CONCERNED!!!
Would you mind reading carefully, or perhaps not bother to write a comment when you are not sensitive enough to understand the parody!!
