에릭-박시연, 한달 전 결별 “우정으로 남겠다“
[JES 이영준,이현] 연예계의 공인커플이었던 에릭과 박시연이 안타까운 이별을 맞았다. 박시연의 한 측근은 “한달 전쯤 박시연과 에릭이 이별했다. 좋은 오빠 동생 사이로 남기로 한 것 같다”고 전했다. 두 사람은 박시연이 KBS 2TV ‘꽃피는 봄이 오면’ 종방 후 태국으로 화보촬영을 갔다 온 후 결별에 합의했다는 것. 결별 이유는 성격 차이다. 에릭과 박시연은 2005년 5월께부터 연인 사이임을 공개하고 연예계의 대표 공인 커플로 사랑을 키워 왔다. 개성이 강한 두 사람은 남들의 시선을 의식하지 않고 자유롭게 길거리 데이트를 즐기는 모습으로 박수를 받았다. 특히 박시연이 본격적인 연예활동을 시작하면서 항간에 ‘결별설’이 불거졌지만. 두 사람은 이에 대해 의연한 대처를 보이며. 꿋꿋하게 사랑을 이어가 주위의 부러움을 샀다. 최근까지도 박시연이 KBS 2TV ‘꽃피는 봄이 오면’ 촬영장에서도 틈틈이 에릭과 전화통화를 하는 모습이 목격돼 주위를 시샘케 했던 바 있다. 이 측근은 “박시연이 무척 힘들어하는 것 같은데. 내색은 하지 않는다”며 “두 사람이 연기자 선후배로서 좋은 우정을 나누게 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다. 한편. 에릭은 현재 MBC TV 주말극 ‘케세라세라’에 출연 중이며. 박시연은 ‘꽃피는 봄이 오면’ 이후 차기작을 물색 중이다. 특히 박시연은 제43회 백상예술대상에서 영화부문 신인상을 거머쥐며 연기자로서 자리매김했다.

Something like they agreed on separation after photographing that went on in Thailand (?) (I have no idea if I understood this part at all?! Why Thailand?)
