Rain, receives Time’s invitation to dinner party, but he will not in this year’s 100 most influential people for 2007
“Beautiful guy”, Rain receives Time’s invitation to dinner party.
At the beginning of the month, he received the invitation to “Time’s 100” dinner party held at America Lincoln centre (?). “Time 100” dinner party invites the 100 most influential people of each year and the 100 most influential people of the year before.
Rain is invited to the party as alumni, thus he might not be chosen as this year’s 100 most influential people.
Usually, half the people attending the party are alumnus, thus the party is more of a reunion party.
Checking the candidates from the previous years, there is very little people who enter 100 most influential people for 2 years in a row and the only people who enter 2 years in a row are heads of states.
However, Rain is on the frontline at the online voting for the 200 most influential people, thus does he stand a chance to be selected this year again?
But, the online voting is to allow people to take note of the event. It does not affect the selection for the 100 most influential people.
Time has already chosen the 100 most influential people and will announce the results through the magazine that will be release on the 28th April (Korean time)
Rain attended the party with a black tuxedo and he met Jerry Bruckheimer, George Lucas and other stars like P.diddy at the party.
However, he might not be able to attend the party as it clashes with the Louis Vulton event.
Rain is also the first Korean artist to be chosen as “100 most beautiful people” by People magazine.
