BIG BANG’s perfume brand “BB Bud” has recorded sales of a hundred million in only after 2 weeks after its release. The perfume started its sale last May 18.

According to an authorized personnel of ygeshop (www.ygeshop.com), the group’s image as a fashion leader raised the value of the product.

Currently, more stocks are urgently needed to be produced because it is already out of stock.

“BIG BANG knows that there are many requests for the product to be sold in foreign countries. The sales would rise even more once the group advances overseas”, expressed AF LAB, the distributor of “BB Bud”.

Before “BB Bud”, Se7en sold his own perfume called “Touch by Se7en” in Asian countries like Korea, Japan and China at the price of a little over 60,000 won. Se7en’s perfume was able to reach total sales of 2,700,000,000 won.

On the 28th, BIG BANG holds their concert in Incheon, one of the cities included in their nationwide tour.

Park Jin Young, “Rain was acknowledged in America after the New York Times report”

“Americans only believe in American press. If the biggest newspaper in Korea claims that the singer Rain is the next generation’s star, they will not believe it, but if it appears in the New York Times, many people look for Rain.”

Producer Park Jin Young attended a special meeting of the ‘Seoul Digital Forum 2007′ (SBS sponsorship) named ‘Special meeting-Hollywood in Seoul’ held at the 31st at 3:00pm at Seoul’s Sheraton Grand Walkerhill Hotel to express his strategy for his debut into America and his opinion and thoughts on the continuation of Hallyu.

Regarding the reason of why Rain held a concert at Madison Count Centre last February as the first Asian singer ever, he said “It was to attract as much public attention from Americans as possible.” Park Jin Young thought that to attract Americans’ interest for Rain, he had to be reported by the ‘New York Times’. About this he stated “I kept on sending information about Rain to the New York Times and in the end, after the Madison Count Centre concert, they showed a response”

Following this, Rain was consecutively reported in the New York Daily and ended up being included in that year’s April issue of the powerful weekly ‘TIME’ magazine as one of the ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’.

After revealing that a course of a series of events was the business strategy to enter the American market he stated “There are Asian superstars, but Americans do not know that at all” and emphasized “To decrease losses, we need to think like an American”.

He also revealed his experiences from his visit to America in 2003 and how he had participated in producing for popular artists such as Will Smith.

Park Jin Young said “There were many times when people said ‘How could an Asian do hip-hop?’ and when I said that ‘I was a succeeded producer in Korea’ the American music producers did not show any reaction.” “When I hid the fact that I was Asian, the Americans showed a response.”

Park Jin Young who has recently revealed his experiences in his American debut emphasized many times that the Hallyu that is currently blowing in Asia must be maintained.

He defined “The Hallyu is a wave” and said “I am in doubt and question whether this wave will be able to continue for 10 years and I am curious of whether the Hallyu will just remain as a wave or if not, what the method is of how it could go to different areas”.

He continued “Koreans must do what other Asians do not to be recognised” and claimed “So, that is why I have chosen the most critical and fussy market, America, and if they receive appraisal from there, I believe that Asians will be able to raise and advance on their skills”.

Rain’s fellow cast members from his Hollywood debut movie ‘Speed Racer’ liberally praised him.

On the 31st of May at the movie release press conference in German Berlin Babelsberg Film Studio, lead actor Emile Hirsch and Christina Ricci commented on Rain’s charm. According to a reporter who attended the press conference, when the media asked “what do you think about Rain”, Hirsch’s reply was “I LOVE RAIN”, and said afterwards “I heard that he’s Asia’s ‘Justin’. I know he is a famous Asian popstar”.

Afterwards Christina Ricci also obtained the same inquiry, she commented and said “rain leads” (sorry don’t know how to translate this particular word), “Rain having concerts in the US~~I would very much like to go for once. 30/5/07 Report on Thai dinner cruise, From lucky Thai fans

After they finished dinner, he kept shake hands with fans without looking at the way… and then he accidentally knocked his head on the roof of the cruise! aww.. that hurts! he kept rubbing his head all the way to hotel. One of the fans told haido, despite he’s hurt, he still show sweet smile ad did I LOVE YOU sign to all the fans! how adorable!! During the cruise, a fan asked JH’s mother that would she mind if JH married to Thai gal. She said she doesn’t mind as long as his son is happy.

During the interview at TRUE MUSIC press conference, he said he really love thailand and would like to buy a house there as second home.

▶ Cellphone? But I’m not really sure what is it that makes me uneasy. ㅎㅎㅎ

▶ It’s always different. When I was shooting all night for the drama, sleeping was not possible but when I have no shooting, I sleep as much as possible.

3. When that happens, it’s ok with you?
▶ Naturally, it’s difficult when I can only sleep a little but it’s ok because I’m still young ㅎㅎㅎ

▶ Most of the time, I go online and play games. I also listen to music.
