Translation from the Interview

My 2nd single will be released soon, the song title is “I love you”
this is the song which i like the most within all the songs that I released in Japan.
the melody is similiar to those I sang before,
with the nice lyrics,too~~
Although the name is just a normal love song name, it is different form those sang before.
This is a very touching , strong feeling song, I hope all of you will like it after

For the plan afterwards,
The 3rd single is planned to release this autumn, I wanna my album will release soon too~
as well as my 2nd concert.
Of course the first concert made me very impressed too~
For all of you, I think it also give u all strong impression.
I wanna make this a wonderful concert again .

So, I will still work hard
showing all of you with more handsome and enegetic KJH!!!
I wanna work harder in 2007!!!

Recent schecules
Recently, I will be working in Asia and other countries.
I have not acted in drama for about a year.
As I will be acting as a person who is more matured (older in age),
I will be wearing formal outfit most of the time. Filming for the drama has ended.
Therefore, I will have more chances to meet fans in Japan.

About the new single
I have prepared a lot, but I still feel nervous and worried. I cannot even sleep well.
The staffs have been helping me and fans have been supporting me.
I can feel that everyone is giving me a lot of support.
If I do not think of these supports, I will have the energy to go on.
I am really nervous and worried about the releasing of my new single.

How many times have I been to Japan?
If it’s for leisure purpose, then only once.
But in total, I have been there for more than 20 times.
I went to Sapporo and Miyazaki, once each.
I have also been to Fukuoka and Osaka but most of the time I am in Tokyo.

Where do I live if I’m in Japan?
When I just came to Japan, I lived in apartments that can see the city view.
If I were to live in Japan, I would want to live in place that can view the sea.

Favourite Japanese food is…
In Japan, I like to eat beef with rice. I also like to eat Japanese ramen.

Learning Japanese
After afternoon, when we see people, we say ‘そうなんだね’ (sounahsane)

Recently, I find this phrase quite interesting.

How do I feel about my popularity in Japan?
When I see everyone supporting me while I’m singing, it makes me
feel like I truly existed. It also makes me have the thinking of ‘I must work very hard.’
I never feel much when I was performing in Korea as I could not watch the performances.
In Japan, I can feel it.
I was thinking… Comparing the 2 situations, it’s a bit tiring to travel frequently between
Korea and Japan. But I must still work very hard everyday, even if I’m in Korea!!!

Goong
To me, the acting skills are new.
What made me felt fortunate was… Originally, Goong was in the form of comics and I like the comic a lot.
At the very beginning, acting was not easy for me. But I like the character very much.
Moreover, the character and I share a lot of similarities.
Therefore, to a certain extend, I can understand Yul’s feelings.

Korea’s traditional elements include traditional Korea’s costume and horse riding.
Looking back at these, I find them most interesting.
It was my first time riding a horse. After watching, my friends saythat I did quite well.
I have learnt a lot about horse riding.

Filming took place during winter time.
There were scenes of falling into the water. In addition, the weather
changes were too big. Thus our body could not take it.

As filming took place at a temperature below zero degree celsius,
cold vital breathe will come out from our mouth when we talked.
However, in Goong, the season was supposed to be spring.
Therefore, the PD said he did want to have any cold vital breathe
coming out from our mouth but this is impossible.
At the last few scenes, Chaegyung fan away a lot cold vital breathe.

The longest was 6 pages long. I (Yul) suggested the changes
that had to be done to the country, to the King. There were a lot of
NGs for that scene. Even the PD got angry. After that scene, I felt
that my lines for the others scenes were easy.

In the end, the crown princess and the prince had a happy ending.
Recalling the story of the crown princess… the lines for Goong will come out.

The words about giving up everything (referring to Yul willing to
give up everything if this is condition to be with Chaegyung), I, myself, thought about this…
After 2500 million years, we will meet again. However, Chaegyung will still choose Shin.
She asked Yul not to hold on to his love for her.
Hearing these words of waiting, my (John Hoon) heart also feels the pain.

The words about 2500 million years between Yul and Chaegyung, although it’s just
a phrase, I find it not easy even when the time comes.

‘Aeng Mu Sae’ is a song for Goong.
It’s about how heart pain a person is when he or she is having a one-sided love.
It was a song that belongs to Yul. At the concert, when I was singing this song,
I put in a lot of feelings of Yul.

Up till now, I still get to sing the songs that I like. In the future, for the sake of
everyone, most probably, I will continue my singing career in Japan. I’m not confirmed.

2nd Single
This time it’s my 2nd single.
The song ‘Boku wa Kimi wo Aishiteru’ is one of the songs that I like most, among the songs that I have sang in Japan.
The melody is a little same as the songs that I have sang before.
This song is about love. I hope everyone will like it after listening.
Now, I am preparing for my 3rd single, which will be released in autumn. I’m also preparing for my 2nd concert.
This year, I will work very hard. This is my plan for this year.
