truthfully, i like his honesty
think about it. it will take great courage and stregth to pubicly announce this and plus on top of that he’s like a celebrity which makes it even worse cause the antis will bash him like crazy.
anyways, there’s nothing wrong w/ plastic surgery.. if it helps boost his confidence level and makes him feel better .. then why not? i mean his true fans will only appericate his talent, i don’t think they will mind too much about his change. Fans know that he’s still the same old hwanhee inside,, it’s just he got a new look or image. and honestly the plastic surgery really just enhance his features, i mean the man doesn’t look too drastically different in my opinion.
so bravo to hwanhee for admitting!!

I’m not sure if this will help at all, since you seem to have the basic idea already ^^ but I’ve tried to translate the article that was provided (from the source link). It’s not a perfect translation because my Korean isn’t perfect, but most of it should be right (except a couple of words maybe).
