Japan 3 cities tour… challenging America with an upcoming album
(Seoul = Yunhop News) Lee Eun Jung ReporterJapanese fans’ support to see possibly the last stage of a singer Se7en (Choi Dong Wook: 23) is very hot. Se7en decided that upcoming “2007 Japan Tour” will be the last stage of him in Asia area since he’s preparing for US debut around the end of this year.
Starting from Nagoya Aichihyun art theater on 6/30, Se7en will have “2007 Japan tour”. The concert will be held in Osaka GrandCube Hall on 7/2 and also in Makuhari Metse Event Hall in Tokyo on 7/7-7/8.
YG Entertainment said, “It might be because fans can’t see his concert anymore this year, but all tickets for this tour are sold out in a second. According to Nextar Record, which is Se7en’s Japanese Management company, Se7en fans are different from just ‘Korean wave’ fans. Fans are younger and very supportive. Considering there was not much promotion, 20,000 seats are all sold out very quick.”
Since he can’t see fans for awhile either, Se7en’s preparation is different, too. From music and choreography to stage setting, Se7en himself is stepping out and making a decision.
After this concert, Se7en will stay in Japan until the end of July for the promotion of his upcoming 6th Japanese single. From August, he will fly back to America and will work on his America debut album.
YG said, “In the beginning, Se7en was planning to debut with a single, not an album. However, the plan has been changed and we’re expecting an album around November.”
