We got to know Nina through her current label Company “Reload Songs” based on NYC, USA and ShenYuePop is honored to be the first site among Kpop sites that have been asked to introduce Nina to Korean Pop fans!
Nina who was abandoned by her Korean parents 25 years ago at the age of 2 weeks was left outside a police station in Seoul, Korea with the sign “Please take a good care of this little girl” she has never been back to Korea to this day! Nina is a gifted singer who was trained under her Swedish adopted musical parents. Her father is a conductor and a cantor, and a mother is a church vocalist. In church Nina quickly became a regular solo singer and at age 11 she started to win prizes in song contests. Nina had a number of activities in Sweden.

She then signed a record contract with Reload Music Group in NYC. Her current manager has been involved with artists such as Kelly Rowland, Garth Brooks, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Trisha Yearwood and our very own BOA.

In 2006 NY internet Radio station Spin FM heard some of Nina Don’s songs and added her song Human on their playlist. It rose to number 1 on the charts and stayed there for 10 weeks. In 2007 she was voted “Artist of the Year” by Spin Radio Awards. In September 2007 Nina will be featured together with artists Michael McDonald, Des’ree, Oleta Adams, Lee Ann Rimes, The Pretenders etc… on a compilation released by Time/Life.
