If you’re an avid reader of Korean newspapers, or E-newspapers, you must remember about some “shocking” news last month, about some celebrities faked their education histories. These celebs mostly veteran artists, or shall we say, old? like Choi Soo Jung and Jang Ming Hee who confessed she never really attend the school she always mentioned on her resume.

Now it’s your man’s turn, ladies. but no worries, according to what i’ve read, the blame shouldn’t be all his.

So you know, when you read a bio of Daniel Henney’s, you’ll get to know that he attented University of Illinois, Chicago, and further, took economics major, right? well, it’s only  a rumour. He’d never been there. He was in Albion College, Alma College, and Elgin College in Illinois (do people in US usually go to many colleges? o.O) but he never completed his degree. Some sites also write about Henney as attended Albion College, and transferred to state university on a basketball scholarship. That is not true.

The manager said, the University of Illinois rumour might be started when Daniel mentioned that he was in his college basketball team and play with other local universities. Neither him or Daniel Henney himself never say anything about false education history. Now if you ask me, sometimes people just read too much over a little, but why would someone read too much and too detailed so they can even add “Ecomics Major” to his false school? duh, talking about making up a life history…

And lemme quote what the manager said : 

“Henney never knew his academic records were falsely publicized, and the agency did not give much thought about the misinformation on the Internet. With the recent issue about academic records, we avoided correcting the problem because we were afraid it would reflect badly,” said Jeong. “We are very sorry and deeply apologize.”

yeah, of course people will give you the apologize, Henney, we don’t love you for your school certificate nor your brain, do we? but, really, NEVER KNEW YOUR ACADEMIC RECORDS WERE FALSELY PUBLICIZED? duh..you really don’t give a damn to us poor people who adore you and praise you and drool over you all the time on the net, huh? So next time, spare your time to check the net, Henney honey, just to kindly know we’re exist, and maybe to find another hole in your internet bio.

oh i forgot to add, his movie “My Father” opens this Thursday.
