I just read in The Korea Times that Kara and Whee (LOL..that’s an awkward way to call someone!) were to perform at the festival too, and FT Island would receive New Singer awards along with Thai’s James. But there’s something weird in the way The korea Times put the news.
Aside from the Asian stars, the festival also gives a chance for new performers to show their talent. Korean pop group FT Island and Thai singer James will receive New Singer awards, while new girl group Kara and singer Whee will also perform.
now unless there’s another singer Whee in Korea, i guess Whee here refers to Wheesung, right?So what’s so new about Wheesung that he still need to show his talent?and why they didn’t put him together with the rest of the 13 performers?

South Korea has selected Lee Chang-dong’s Secret Sunshine as its submission to the foreign language film category of the Academy Awards.
A special committee appointed by the Korean Film Council chose Secret Sunshine over Kim Ki-duk’s Breath and Kim Ji-hoon’s box office hit May 18.
Secret Sunshine premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where it won an actress award for Jeon Do-yeon as a young widow who moves from Seoul to start over in a provincial city. The film also stars Kang-ho Song.
South Korea has never had a film selected for inclusion in the final five nominations.
Kim Rae Won’s Japanese movie wrapped the filming process
The movie title is Flower Shadow (Hanakake), and directed by Bayside Shakedown’s Gawai Hayato (If you’re into Jap movies, i truly recommend Bayside Shakesdown. It’s the special episode of series “Odoru Daisousassen”, starred Oda Yuuji as a detective, in the world of police beraucracy. Witty and refreshing). Hanakake will open next spring.

WOW …. What a telented guy! According to serenity2@soompi he’s recruited last year from SM’s global audition from Toronto, Canada. He was the only one that was told to stay and meet LSM after his audition. He’s Chinese, from taiwan but apperently doesn’t speak much of the language! But imagine that he is debuting after only a year in SM! Seems like he’s really good friends with KangIn ~!
It’s about a week i guess since WheeSungs “official comeback” .. and the latest we had from him .. is that he is still trying for the 1st spot on Music charts .. but he is not there yet!

Wheesung explained the real reason of leaving YG. He said it wasn’t because of the money. He said it was because he always think he’s just a member of this family, but in this family, he’s not the only member. He want more love, or what I suppose he really meant “Attention,” but couldn’t. He admitted that he was ALSO jealous of other member, and he was sorry for them.
