Looks like JYP and Mr. SM are at it again, but this time, their battle grounds are in different places. The much anticipated debut of JYP’s MIN is also the day that Mr. SM will release SuShi’s first song from their first album! So which will you be dying to hear first on November 1st, will it but MIN’s first single or SuShi’s first single from the album? More importantly, which one will you buy first?
I have been an undercover fan of SuShi’s for under a month, so writing this article without sounding like I dislike this is quite hard! So go easy on me when I write good comments! SuShi will perform their song on MNET MCOUNTDOWN. And to quote, “Currently, they have been practicing the dance steps like MAD so SM won’t beat them up!”

In other news, a few SuShi fangirls got to spend a day with them and learn their dance routines (sheesh, what happened to more fun things like taking your fans out to dinner or to the amusement part? No one wants to work on a ‘lucky’ day!).

^ Take a look at Jessica’s cancles! (and that girl to the left looks like Kamie Eri playing her skit character from Hello! Morning. If you don’t know Morning Musume, then you don’t know Japan).
Recently, Morning Musume, the long time Japanese group that SuShi has been compared to even before their debut had a concert in Korea. One current member, Niigaki Risa, who followed in Goto Maki’s footsteps and learned a bit of Korean was really happy. They even mentioned SuShi in a press conference! Heh, so it seems that the girls really are famous now… They mentioned that they know about Wonder Girls and most of all, SuShi (where’s the KARA love?) and said that the girls were very pretty (duh, Koreans actually fix their teeth!) also mentioning that they had good skin. They mentioned that both groups have great fashion style and dance moves (oh Korea~). Do I smell a collaboration? I hope so, especially since it seems that SuShi is replacing my love for Morning Musume in terms of unnecessarily large girl groups!
Hopefully SuShi can learn a thing or two from Morning Musume and make their share of pairings for the fangirls! It’s impossible to have not ONE pairing in a NINE girl group! Come on people, do I have to spell out the statistics again?
And lastly, watch Tiffany fail miserably at hosting a show.
I couldn’t even finish the whole thing. I did however read the comments, and it turns out that there was some awkward silence between her and her interviewer! Of course fans blamed it on the crew and technical difficulties, but we all know that it was because she didn’t have her phone with her to help her with her Korean! You gotta be more prepared like Jung Nicole (KARA). Tsk tsk tsk, Tiffany. Oh well, at least you don’t look like the rest of your clones, so we forgive you.
A preview of So Nyuh Shi Dae’s new music video for this 1st album! The song is called “소녀시대” a remake song of the 1989 hit by Lee Seung Chul.

Asian superstar, BoA, has done it again. Topping the polls for her third award this month!
The first award this month was given to her on 2007/10/07 from the ‘14th Annual Korea Entertainment Masterpiece Award Ceremony’ (jeez, could the title be any longer?). This award was also presented to DBSK on the group category -for excelling in Korean (music) arts, culture, and global entertainment- making two grand slams for Mr. SM.
Then again, another award was given on 2007/10/18 for the ‘Young Contemporary Artist Award’. She was given this more prestigious award for the same reasons as the first. Yeah, hate on you anti-fans, HATE ON ‘cuz BoA can’t hear ya with all the screaming fans.
Her latest winning was in a poll at a Korean poll for ‘The artist with the Best Album covers’. Some sources say that the poll was about artists who can probably make the best album cover using their own photographical skills, and some say that it’s a poll on which artists makes the best album covers. This poll started on 2007/10/18 and since then, she’s been topping it with over 900 votes (out of 2000). Either way, the comments from the site say that BoA would top it because she’s been interested in photography for quite some time, and her modeling for her OLYMPUS commercials were spectacular. Coming in second place was Ppaekga of Koyote, followed by Na-Eol of Brown Eyes, Park Ji-Yoon and Seong Si-Kyeong.

And a rather weird poll was taken quite a while ago, but it’s still worth a share. ‘Which artist will you save when Japan sinks underwater?’ was the name of the poll. If you couldn’t figure it out, the participants are native Koreans who are very well known in Japan. BoA made number two in the poll, behind Lee Seung Yup, a famous baseball player playing for a Japanese team. Why is it not surprising that Korea would save their baseball players before their singers? (haha).
In other news, not relating to Korea *tear* BoA will have another single in Japan *another tear*. Normally, her singles releasing during the winter season are ballads. But in a recent interview, she wrote an upbeat Christmas song! Yay, now Shen-unni won’t be confused like she was in >>Meri Kuri<< when BoA made a sad ballad for Christmas!

Why are there so many Korean boy-bands heading to Japan? ~Oh well~ add Paran and SG wannabe to the list too *sigh*. One group with questionable fashion sense and the other with power house vocals are having live concerts in Japan around Christmas time. Paran, the five-member R&B/POP group is planning on performing two Christmas concerts called “Paran Blue Christmas Live”, which are going to be held on Christmas Eve (12/24) in Tokyo at SUTERABORU, and two days later in Osaka at the Oriental Theater. And the three member group SG wannabe is planning a concert on 12/9 at Osaka International Conference Hall Main Hall. I think I can hear all those lucky Japanese fan-girls screaming already. SG Wannabe when will you guys come back to the States! This time come to California; you guys have fans her too *screaming at the top of my lungs*.

Jennifer: I was actually a little shocked when I saw this news today:
Chinese media was complaining that it’s already hard enough to communicate with foreigners, but it’s even worse to interview a celebrity with an agent that has a tough attitude. The mini concert in China for Se7en’s Sprite Event was crowded and packed with Se7en’s fans, and they started to wait by the entrance since this morning. After the performance, the media asked Se7en : “What makes you to decide to enter U.S market before Chinese market?” And before Se7en open his mouth to speek, YG took over the conversation and replied it with: “We recorded english songs first, so we decided to enter U.S market before the Chinese. Entering U.S market first doesn’t mean we forgot the Chinese market!” Later during the interview, when the media brought up Goong S’ low view rate, YG directly cut off the interview and made an excuse of: “The interview is over, Se7en have another scheduled event.”

Se7en did his well known ”Hand Stand” during his performance in China on October.28! He even said “I love you” (In chinese), which made all of his fans screamed. Se7en did not talk about the progress of his English album, but it should be good! After he finish recording his English album, he will be promoting more in Asain countries…(Why?) and he may have a concert in China too!!
Jennifer: Shouldn’t he be focusing more on the U.S debut than promoting in asia? Promoting yourself in asia after finish recording? If I walk on the street and grab a random person, and ask them if they know se7en, I bet they’ll say NO!! C’mon…promote yourself in U.S first!!! ** Worrying** I can only say Good luck~

ShenYue:
Se7en during the Hennesy Artistry event in Hong Kong.
This time fans (thank GOD)provided sub with the video …
Man, T______ T his English is way worse than what I thought …
This is making me SUPER worried of his debut! …

“If you guys really want, I’ll be here, anytime. Call me. You know what I mean?”
“Alright guys, tonight I’m really happy to be here so.. ”
“Yeah, thank you, I’m going to make a new song right now, so I try my best.”
“So I wanna make like the first Asian.” [successful in the U.S. music industry]
“So, please.. you know what I’m saying?”
“And I want to learn Cantonese too.”
“My last song is my 3rd album title song, ‘I Know.’ So you guys really, really kinda jumping, right?” [referring that this an upbeat song]
