shenyue – Anyway, sine she’s been in JApan for so long, and Japan is in love with “nail art” as they call it, she probably started doing some herself. Usually, she says, she doesn’t do nail art (unless it’s spray on, which is very expensive, but she’s BoA… so yeah) becuase she has to play piano.

HA! I do have proof that she plays piano, it was during the time of GIRLS ON TOP. I don’t know if you can find that video on Youtube… if not, I’ll find a place to upload my video. They don’t show much as the video is only like 6 minutes long or so (haven’t seen it in a while). And she is said to have composed some of her songs (not just write them) as well with the piano. Okay, so maybe she’s not fluent in English as much as her Japanese or Korean… BUT, it is better than RAin and Se7ens. She comprehends her American stage managers and her dancing coach from New York, and she answers back (though of course, it’s not 100% correct grammar… but come on. But seriously now, even Mickey from DBSK isn’t great in English, and he’s lived here.

Yeah .. i was a about to be a music major once .. i was my music teachers’ best student! I was learning a year worth of lessons in 3 months! and I’m not KIDDING! I knew how to play 3 instrument, self thought myself Guitar .. composed 4 songs .. sang 2 tracks in an album when I was 16 … my history is long now that i’m writing it down LOL! but I gave it all up .. It has a long story why …. now the only thing i do related to music is this blog ^^

Sure, go to google and type in “Nail art+Japan” you’ll get many results. Maybe female artists from Japan do it. If they play instruments, they usually only do it when they are not performing anything (like interviews, commercials, etc). Some people pierce their nail and add charms to it (my best friend did it because her favorite girl from Morning Musume did it, and she liked it) .
WOW… That’s really impressive, I had hopes as that, but my parents won’t let me pursue them. The instrument I’m best at is guitar, but I also play some piano and drums, I’m trying to learn bass. I’m more of a writer than a composer though, I hate my voice, but I do know how to use it and train voices. MAN. That sucks… well whatever it was that made you give it up, sorry to hear :T
