BOA’s “LOVE LETTER” Dropped Hard?!

Outch! BOA’s new single “LOVE LETTER” which we reported last time being on top of the chart apparently sank as hard as it could get to # 17 on the daily charts and is experiencing low sale. Let’s wish the artist tons of luck on her next project!

the girl next to boa is the girl that played naru-chan in pretty sailors live action. she played usagi-chan’s best friend. haha. people said pgsm was cheesy just because of the anime made into real people. they did a good job. love the story. i cried too.

i wasn’t surprised. im sorry but her single was blehh. i agree. she needs to come back to korea. this is a sign that she needs a break from japan.

Hmmm… well many singles from new and famous/popular artists did come out… so I don’t blame her.
I really do think it’s time for her to go back to korea and take some time off of Japan. Who knows, maybe when she comes back, the fresh new feeling start will make the fans feel like she’s new again. OR, the Sandara Park thing can happen where she leaves for too long and they don’t care about her…
There’s a lot of matters that go into this…
but, I really do think that even if she were to come to Korea after such a long break (other than many OST songs) that they would still love her.

Naruchan!! thank you swtaznlaydee for answering me ^^ I thought PGSM was pretty good aside from when they became sailor scouts they looked funny with the fake hair LOL but yeah it was pretty corny at times but still not-so-bad XD

I agree.. maybe it’s about time she comes back to Korea, how long has she been there? Has it been longer than DBSK? Wait.. is DBSK back in Korea or no??

junsufan – Yeah! She looks so pretty. And like you and I said, she is going against big names, new and legendary old.
Plus, she’s a foriegner. The fact that she even made history in Japan will forever get her remembered.

I actually really liked Love Letter. So I think it’s a waste of a good song. Maybe BoA’s been riding the fame train too long in Japan.

WHAT?!?! I actually like Love Letter, too. I mean I’m not a big fan of BoA until more recently with the release of LL but I think this song shouldn’t have been as low as 17. wow.

BoA should go to Korea, so should TVXQ!

Again, you have to remember all the other new singles competeing with her’s. I used to be in Japanese music A LOT more than Korean, so I know how it goes.

hanna – HAha, that’s another thing you have to know about Japan. MANY of middle aged men feed on younger girls… Do some research on Morning Musume… They had a large girl fanbase… now if you go on forums, every one assumes you’re a guy because 90% of fans…are guys. Especially in Japan.
Boys love girls, and girls love boys.

well its actually normal for singles to start way high and then drop dramatically. In Japan all major sales are made in the first week after that it just plummets down. Look at all the japanese artists that get No. 1 on the United world Chart their first week, the next week they are like at number 20 something. It’s all based on first week sales, very few make consistent sales unless its like one of those yearly anthems like Utada’s Flavor of Life Etc.
