well its actually normal for singles to start way high and then drop dramatically. In Japan all major sales are made in the first week after that it just plummets down. Look at all the japanese artists that get No. 1 on the United world Chart their first week, the next week they are like at number 20 something. It’s all based on first week sales, very few make consistent sales unless its like one of those yearly anthems like Utada’s Flavor of Life Etc.

Again, you have to remember all the other new singles competeing with her’s. I used to be in Japanese music A LOT more than Korean, so I know how it goes.

hanna – HAha, that’s another thing you have to know about Japan. MANY of middle aged men feed on younger girls… Do some research on Morning Musume… They had a large girl fanbase… now if you go on forums, every one assumes you’re a guy because 90% of fans…are guys. Especially in Japan.
Boys love girls, and girls love boys.

WHAT?!?! I actually like Love Letter, too. I mean I’m not a big fan of BoA until more recently with the release of LL but I think this song shouldn’t have been as low as 17. wow.

BoA should go to Korea, so should TVXQ!

I actually really liked Love Letter. So I think it’s a waste of a good song. Maybe BoA’s been riding the fame train too long in Japan.
