So I was at yt (youtube for those who don’t know) to check out what’s out, and I also wanted to get away from all this Ivy drama, it’s on be continue mode for right now . Well, as I was saying I was at yt and I came across this video of Eru and Yangpa. At first I was only interested in it because of Eru….yea I am into him nowadays. Especially, since I recently listened to his latest album (Vol.3) - Eru Returns, which is so good. So anyways, I was mainly watching it for Eru, but when Yangpa began to sing her part….oh yea I forgot to tell you they were singing….OMG! That girl can blow, and mind you they were singing in English, both of them, perfectly.
They were on this show called MBC Radio Star; I think it’s hosted by Shin Jung Hwan and some other guy (don’t know his name). But here I am sitting in front of my computer literally with my month open listening to this girl sing, even though they only sung a minute or so of the song, I was still amazed by it. Eru and Yangpa were singing “Endless Love” one of the greatest love songs every written or composed.

So yea I was blown away by the magnitude of her voice and the way she can carry and hold a note. Which is so important nowadays because so many people are becoming singers that shouldn’t be *cough Sushi cough*, sorry I have a little cold ^^ heehehe.
Well back to Yangpa, I heard that she is coming out with an English album soon, which makes me so excited that I don’t know what to do with myself.

Singer Yangpa is discussing details for her debut in the US. Her management agency recently said that “a fan of hers, James Seon, will actively lead and help her debut in America.” Seon is the CEO of zoodango.com, an exclusive peoples’ connection site boasting a one million membership including celebrities and CEOs. He is an ardent fan of Yangpa, whose latest 5th album, released after a long interval, proved to be a hit. His extensive ties with top US record officials and musicians will help him promote Yangpa to pave the way for her US debut.
He is also helping Poppin Hyun Joon with his US debut
She is in a long (I mean long) line with other singers making their US debut, but I feel that she has the upper hand. Why? You may ask. Well…
ONE she can sing,
TWO she can sing in English,
and THREE she is female and very beautiful.
Yangpa’s voice is very soulful and she can sing strong, which people (like me) like for singers to have. She is a Berklee (a music college in Boston) grad like Eru, so she knows something about music. Her English sounds damn good too, even though, i haven’t heard her speak in English. I feel that if she can sing that well in English, then I don’t think it’ll be that hard for her to speak it. And here in the States, people tend to take better to female singers than male singers. I think guys also feel more comfortable going to female singers’ concerts and buying their albums, except, for Hip Hop artists they’re an exception.
So I don’t know about anyone else, but I am really, REALLY excited about her US release. I hope she comes out with some good ballads, and up tempo songs.
