[Just so you know, that line is from one of their songs]
Okay, so there’s been much talk of BIG BANG since their mini album made such a great hit. These boys started back in 2006 in YG Entertainment. At first, I looked at them as Se7en’s back up dancers when I saw Se7en on MTVK and MTVChi (talking about his American debut earlier this year in May). But later, I grew to freaking love these boys.
Unlike DBSK and all the other boy groups out there, these boys are pure hip hop and R&B. Which I love. Another plus is G-Dragon actually writes some of their songs! I really think they deserve as much hype and attention as SuJu and DBSK (and trust me, you DBSK/SuJu fans don’t want to know why!).
The group consists of : G-Dragon (as the leader), TaeYang (as the lead singer), T.O.P., Seung Ri, and DaeSung.
They had a sixth member, So-1, but he got kicked out, along with Seung Ri. But later on, Seung Ri was able to get better at his mistakes and was accepted as the group’s little brother! All the boys are young. Although T.O.P. is the eldest, TaeYang (who started out as a rapper like T.O.P. and G-Dragon) and GD were training since they were 12. There are MANY cute and nice information that I left out, but can be read when you look them up on wikipedia and wiki.theppn.org
Earlier this year, while Se7en held preparations and press conferences for his American debut, BIG BANG said they were aiming for Japan. But that was so long ago and nothing has been said since then, except for the rumor that TaeYang (a.ka, YongBae) was the only one that was going to debut in Japan. Though TaeYang had the best Japanese out in the group, I didn’t think it would be complete without the rest of the boys (even though he also happens to be the lead singer). With that out the window, things are FINALLY showing up!
Though it’s completely in English, (which by the way isn’t bad! Usually boy groups and their English covers have not impressed me) it is considered part of their Japanese single. At least these boys are smart enough to know they’re not ready for America and instead will impress the Japanese with their English! I’m pretty sure they will accept them greatly because one, J-urban music is hitting it mainstream, two, Japanese love Korean music, three, Japanese women love Korean boys (XD!). Though I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed. I really wanted to hear what their Japanese would be like.
Translation note: (The way the radio DJ says “How G” is so funny!
They are so serious and surprised by it… it adds on to the humor.)
The lady said that the song was really good, and she said it in a surprised/shocked way (praising).

And for those of you who like BIG BANG, but don’t keep up with them much, here’s their latest MV! “Lies” was a big hit, but this new song (the title track) from their mini album, “ALWAYS” is just as catchy. I didn’t like “Lies” at first, and preferred this one actually. Well here it is:
If you aren’t a big BIG BANG fan like my sister, then you probably didn’t know that the photoshoot they had for promotion of their mini album, but it definite coincides with the place and clothes as the ones they are wearing in this video. From my sources, I hear it’s filmed in Hawaii. But to me, it looks like the Philippines! (Yes, that deserves an exclamation point because once again, hot Korean celebrities are in my home country which I left). Dried mangoes? Beaches are so similar? And the mega tall & skinny palm trees?

I totally love these boys, so thanks for putting this up. I agree they deserve as much, if not more than credit than DBSK/Suju. I dunno; after the mounds of actually LIVE lives, self-choreographed routines, self-written and produced songs–it just makes sense. ;p Plus. They’re really lovable.
I mean, I love DBSK too, but there’s only so long I can be blinded by SM, I guess. Just my opinion, though~
