Dear readers,

bye bye, Shen YueIt is with great sorrow that I have to announce the retirement of our core author – Shen Yue.

Shen Yue is the founder and the creator of this wonderful blog, ShenYuePop.com which was first started in November 2006. Ever since then, she has always been the great source of the latest Korean entertainment news. She has her own style of writing the news and most importantly she speaks out what she thinks, she writes what’s on her mind. I strongly believe most of you love who Shen Yue is as much as I do, however, some people just don’t appreciate it. The crazy bunch of azumas are constantly bashing and defaming her. This leaves Shen Yue no choice but to retire from the blog. Instead of feeling hurt and stressful with the disrespectful emails and comments, it would be best for her to get away and have more time for her studies and most importantly, to get back to her own life, to be the real her.

Shen Yue said:
“I just want them to know that I hope that people had a good time reading my posts for over a year and I was able to relieve the stress of their entire day! Meanwhile hopefully no one was ever hurt because of how I expressed my opinions!

This past year of experience of living closely with Kpop and blogging was so much fun. I learned a lot and made great friends! Hopefully with all the love that I have received I am now ready to study hard for the MCAT (medical entrance examination test) that I will be taking on Spring!

I hope people give our staff and new authors encouragement and have good time together! and make ShenYuepop stays as always strong and establish as we were the “FIRST” Korean-entertainment NEWS blog for the mass in English!

Let them know that we would be happy to have new active and cool staff added to our lovely community all the time ^^ and together let’s make this place GROW MORE AND MORE each day!”

At the same time, as many of you may notice the new design of the blog, I would like to take this opportunity to launch the new facelift of ShenYuePop as my way to say “THANK YOU & WE LOVE YOU” to Shen Yue. Although Shen Yue physically retires from the blog, we will always have her in our heart and mind, I believe she will continue visiting us and be our advisor for many more years to come. Not only we should continue making this the best Korean-entertainment news blog for the mass in English, let’s also make it a fun Korean entertainment community for all Kpop lovers around the world.

Goodbye, Shen Yue! Take very good care of yourself and all the best in your studies and future undertakings.
