translation note:
I have no clue what futa means, so I’m guessing it’s the name of her pig. I’ve never heard of a name futa, so it’s not common. In Japan, there’s a famous ‘red bear’ named Futa-kun though. The suffix “-kun” is sort of like saying “Mr.” making it playful (the REAL “Mr./Mrs.” is “-san”).

Now, seems like after that Japanese interview we had posted on how she is sick of it all .. and now wants to study in US … (while according to fans her 6th Japanese album’s release date is being pushed back by a week to the 27th of February!) Michelle: According to an interview with a Japanese magazine, BoA is preparing to study in the US. She revealed that she will be studying for four years and that she wants to learn ballet and other dances. She also said, “Work isn’t fun, I’ve lost the meaning of my existence, as a person”. Since entering the industry at the age of 14, it seems like she’s finally getting sick of it! She also said that every time she felt isolated from being busy, she would think of studying in the US to help her overcome those lonely moments.

Asian star BoA is preparing to study in the U.S. In a recent interview with the Japanese media, she revealed that she will definitely be studying in the U.S. in four years and that she wants to properly learn ballet and other dances. She also uttered these shocking words: “Work isn’t fun, I’ve lost the meaning of my existence, as a person.” BoA, who’s worked relentlessly since the age of 14, seems to be suffering from fatigue. She said that every time she felt desolate from being so busy, the thought of studying abroad in the U.S. helped her overcome her low moments.
I guess this is what happens if you enter the industry at an early age. I think she’s just lonely. She has nobody to really hang out with besides all the staff she works with! She sounds like a girl who’s really home sick!! If she’s homesick, then why does she want to study overseas?! And if I remember, she thinks education is useless to her!

Popular girl group, SeeYa, is making their California Dream come true!! The group is set to release their new album, titled “California Dream”. The album is drawing lots of attention since the release of the new MV, showing Nam Kyu Ri, a member of the group who was was discovered as a coffee barista displays with a new look! The new album will consist of the song ‘Shoes II’, which already has received good response from fans since December 17th online release. The album will also include remakes, such as “The Day” by Kim Yeon Ji and Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea, “Deep Night”, which is a song that Nam Kyu-Ri sang for a movie’s OST, and a song by Lee Boram from popular kdrama, Full House, and other songs!! To make this album more of a California Dream, the cover for the album was shot in LA and sin city, Vegas!!

● “I got chosen as a coffee barista by a famous gasoo.”
-What kind of work did you do before? (albeit)
I’ve served coffee, worked for Burger King. … the cheapest work I had to do was a CF for about 150,000 won($150.00)
-How long did you work for the burger joint?
4-5 mo. More than anything, I liked enjoyed eating all the burgers for free! (laugh) Even in the day, it was irritating having to ask if they wanted a side slice of cheese with that or not. My work was mainly to “set” the burgers in the back kitchen.
-Seemingly, you would have gained a whole lot of attention at the coffee shops from guys because of your appearance.
I worked on purpose in the coffee shop by the Eastside of ChungDam because most of the gayo enterprises are located there. I had to make good use of my time since I wanted to audition. There were nasty (raunchy) customers, people who’d ask when I was off all the time, or even flat out ask me out for a date. But decisively, I had no taste for any one of them. (laugh)
-Any chance of remembering a particular customer?
Oh! Well, this is the first time I’m confessing this, but this popular singer once asked for me to go out with him. When I worked for the bubble tea shop, we’d drink bubble tea together almost everyday and then when I moved jobs to the coffee shop next door, I don’t know how he found that out but he came by the shop next door as well. And then one day he said he liked me and that we should date since I’m going to be a singer anyway. At the time, dating was a luxury beyond my means because all I wanted was to hurry and save money for the audition. I totally refused. I think that’s probably why he doesn’t even look or greet me when we sometimes run into each other behind the stage.
-Did you save alot of money by working (albeit)?
Yes. I never took the cab, so almost close to 5,000.000won. (5,000 dollars) I left it in my mother’s hands.
One of my firm beliefs is to not go anywhere out of the house. Cause if I see it I know I’ll want to buy it. When I was working, I’d buy a pair of jeans for 35000won or 35.00 dollars and wear it for a year. In high school, I really envied the girls who took vocal lessons privately. At least I had a computer!
-Oh, you must have practiced music lessons through the computer.
No, but I searched “how to do voice vibrations” “how to create a husky effect” some topics like these and study on my own. It’s a stupid way but it helped out in a grand way.
-You’ll be featured in the 2.5 album music video for next month! Isn’t this the 2nd time?
Yeah. Sad Footsteps-Goodoo (Shoes)2. In the movie, I’ll star a room-service girl. While we were filming the part where I got hit in the head by a glass bottle, my head split somewhere and I bled. It hurt so bad that when the director made his cut sign and came right over, my face was smiling but I’m all bleeding, tears were all over my face. I thought, this is what’s just unbearable.(laugh) And with acting, I studied out of a book called Monologue of the color white. The expression I like the most up to this day is that I can relate well most when I’m destitute.

We just learned the hilarious popular variety show “Yashim Man Man” is going through a temporary break for about a year, and the show is going to have it’s final episode on January 14th.
YSMM is not being canceled permanently according to SBS, but will be taking a temporary break and will return next year with “YSMM Season 2,” an upgraded version with a new format. Meanwhile, Shin Dong Yup’s “Challenge 8 vs. 1″ will be taking over YSMM’s time slot.
Fan accounts having it the reason behind the story and plans on changing the format is because of the ratings of the show. The ratings apparently have been declining steadily over the past year which worried the producers of the show.
The show, when started in 2004 was apparently one of the few that had celebrities showing up and discussing their private stories and sharing them all with public. But lately, a lot of shows like “Golden Fishery”, “Come to Play”, etc. have created the similar format and that made viewers to not see YSMM as an unique show anymore.
Even though the show was our favorite but we lost track of all those episodes we missed … Hopefully a year is enough to catch up with all those JYP’s episodes we wanted to catch him confess something about his marriage!~ lol!

Eru, which we didn’t know till today was apparently a U.S.-born!
We knew he went to school in USA, but was he really born here?
It’s said that he gave up his American citizenship two years ago and acquired a Korean one (that’s when he debuted as a singer). That’s because great land of Korea doesn’t allow dual citizenship!
Now, there is news out there that the guy is going to serve in the Korean military next year. Eru’s agency said the exact timing of the singer’s military service is yet to be set, but it will likely be in the second half of next year.
Eru for the first time after his debut, he is going to hold his first solo concert in February at Yonsei University. According to KBS GLOBAL, the concert news made the headlines especially after the news spread that his father, veteran trot singer Tae Jin-ah, will appear as a guest at his son’s concert.
We are thinking more like … this military news out of the blue is more to help selling couple more tickets for his concert … the same as for his father’s appearance as a concert’s guest! *Ajummas in line*
