DBSK vs. SUJU

On December 25th, DBSK and Super Junior recorded an episode together for SBS “Exploration of the Human Body”. The episode will be broadcast on the 6th at 5:30 pm.
Cassiopeia, however, found the time suitable to celebrate DBSK’s 4th Anniversary as well as Christmas by sending them food!

But I can’t help but ask wouldn’t it be nicer of them .. that in the name of DBSK’s 4th Anniversary as well as Christmas send these bags of food/fresh fruits to the closest orphanage nearby? I’m pretty sure those kids who can’t even remember the last time they smelled a strawberry are in a greater need of those proteins/vitamins in those food/fruits than their rich oppas!

Isn’t the Yunho “food poison” incident enough to make these boys be more careful of taking in foods coming from fans? There’s always a possibility that one of those foods is from an anti. =/

oh my is that eunhyuk vs junsu i see there? that should be interesting~~ hehe. yea i agree with u shenyue that all those food would be better given to those poor orphanages instead or better yet DBSK do it themselves (probably secretly though or else they risk the wraths of cassiopeias)

also, has anybody done any survey before about the age range for fans of suju&DBSK? for some reason I have the feeling that DBSK fans are ingeneral older than suju fans… hence the bloody richness!

wow. would so love to watch this show. This is the first tie in a while that I’ve been excited about these two groups. haha.

I agree with the food thing. But ost fans are so concerned for the oppas and actually believe that they’re being underfed, so I suppose that’s why they sent food. That, and they probably believe the way to a an’s heart is through his stoach or something. d0=

@DT — people always wish for talent, and most people, who lacks talent in certain areas, put in 120% effort to make their dreams come true. unfortunately things like vocal ranges and singing abilities are one of those that can not be easily trained for, and looks/heights are always natural born. I am not a die-hard suju fan, in fact I like DBSK’s singing and images much better (each one of them is just soooo lovable), but I do hope you could show some respect to the boys who are working really hard to achieve their goals. if you are sick and tired of reading about them, stop reading, nobody’s forcing you…

@shenyue — I donno… it is easier to put up polls in Soompi I guess… I will try doing one soon… but it would be difficult to survey the korean fan base….

shenyue, here’s the poll, which surprisingly has got more than 500 votes already… I wouldn’t say it is statistically significant yet…

a couple things to notice: many people stated they like both groups and consider the two groups as 18 rather than 5+13, this is reflected in the same distribution for the first 2 questions. However, when asked to choose only one, many prefer DBSK a bit more, leading to the ratio of #fans to ~5/3. The dominant age group of fans are 16-18 (high school), followed by 13-15 (middle school), 29-21(college). As for the tail of the distribution, surprisingly suju has more fans in the >=25 range, but again, the actual numbers are too small for the results to be statistically significant.

About the results .. I should say it’s very interesting to me .. .
Cuz when we did a poll to figure out the medium age of our audience, we too realized it in fact is somewhere around 16, 17, 18 years old *whispering* (which by the way very was disappointing to me .. realizing that bunch of high schoolers only find our writings interesting! …) But the given result from your poll shows me … that maybe I was wrong that maybe in fact the mean age of the English-Speaker fans of the Kpop is 16-18! Not my audience per se! …

I can’t agrred on more. Yes, as much as i loved dbsk, yet I find the Cassies is somehow in a certain occasion is rather overdone. I mean to give the foods to the members and the stuff is a nice thing to do. But to give way too much is just unappropriate thing to do. I bet if only they can think more reosonable way to do good cause in the name of dbsk and as their fans I will stongly beleiev that Dbsk will be so proud of them.
