JOO Had Her Debut!

So hows everyone doing? …
How did you like this JYP’s product?

You know what was the first thing I noticed?
That this girl doesn’t look anything like the pictures we saw from her!

Then I swear at some point at the end of the first verse .. I was cringing my teeth and found myself going like “just a little more push, yeah yeah … you can make it to the end of the note!” But overall she sang okay for her debut (first video) ..
Not so well on the second night though~!
But why I’m not impressed with her at all? Why?
And the whole time for some weird reason I was imagining JYP’s face behind the scene LOL .. which whoever have seen JYP on the screen of their monitor or TVs at least once should realized it’s not a pleasant experince at all ^^!

I like it. She’s singing better than I expected. Her voice is so clear and innocent. Me gusta definitely.

computer’s too slow right now. I only got to see the first 3 seconds. But wow, she had a lot of cheers when it started. I’m not impressed, either. Like… usually, I’m excited for new debutants… but I don’t feel the same about her. I like her, though. I wonder if she’ll ever do dance songs and stuff.

I hope they don’t stop promoting her. there’s so much focus on groups right now… like Jang Ri In hasn’t had a lot of promotion (or so it seems) and I kind of feel sorry for her. SNSD and SuJu seem to be getting all of SME’s favor right now.

honestly…im not that impressed either
i mean, sure, shes not bad at singing
but shes not that great either.
her voice can get a little…shrieky..shrill..
i mean its okay…but especially, the begginin was really weak
i was expecting so much more..
im excited to see more of her songs
but this song is sooo beautiful though
although..i would prefer if the singer wasn’t so shrill sometimes. :/

and i dont really like her tightly pulled bun at the top of her head…

im really gettin sick of all these teenage girls who should really develop their skills more before they debut..!

also goin off of what you said that she doesn’t look like what we expected.
if you look at her previous pic and then look at this video, it seems like she couldve gotten plastic surgery. her nose looks thinner and slightly higher; also, her eyes look like they could have a double eyelid or something.

Anyways, I find her BORING. She did okay, but heh, kinda boring. Don’t get all the fuss about the song, it’s boring too. She did sing well, but it seems like she has no charisma..no charm. I prefer ZLY, her debut perfs were HORRIBLE but she improved, plus ZLY’s songs aren’t boring so yea..and she’s GORGEOUS. I’m so biased. :p

I thought she did great. She has a nice voice and it’s far from shrieking. However, I do think that her voice doesn’t suit this song. It would sound so much better being sung by someone with a more distinct voice. I can totally see someone like Boa singing this.

i’m going to keep an open mind…i feel like i need to see more performances before i pass judgment. overall though i think she definitely has substance.

quite personally, i dont think she’s anything special
her voice isn’t that great, memorable and neither is her face (i’m sorry, but it’s true)
the wonder girls, though maybe less talented in some areas are very very memorable and leave more of an imprint. i wonder if joo can dance?

i like it..nothin special, but also nothin ugly..she doesnt look like the poster pic..overall shes good..@ least she has sum talent compare to so many others

like a lot of people said, nothing special.
she’s a great singer with a great voice but she’s not like “BAM!” jyp got everyone hyped up for nothing. she’s a new singer…can’t blame her and she’s nervous! even people who’ve debuted for 4 years still get nervous before going on stage! she has a lot of time and room for improvement. u can’t just expect too much for someone who just debuted.

she looks a lot different in the pics of the previous post on her! she got her eyelids done for sure!! whats up with youtube these days?! the hq videos are extreme hq now!!

She is indeed a good singer, AND I actually stayed awake the whole video while watching the first video. However, I was close to falling asleep near the end on the second.

I really don’t have a thing for ballad singers. Unless they’re extremely good. In this case, she’s not. Oh well, props to JYP anyways. She’s a pretty good singer. Just not interesting enough for me.

I thought she sounded like she’s sobbing at the beginning O_o But overall her voice is good but yea I cant really stand slow ballad like this. I was actually doing something else while she sang XD

wow. i’m so unimpressed. everything about that was so mediocre. the song, her voice, her looks, her dress, the stage, her performance. it’s not bad, but also nothing to be excited about either.

I heard her sing of her debut, I think she’s average. sounds kinda whiny, yeah?

eh I’m not impressed either.

The song is beautiful and could’ve been better with a different singer.
