I even read the lyrics and could NOT (for the life of me) understand it at all!

Nothing made sense to me…these people gotta learn that sticking in random English phrases isn’t gonna make your song sound cooler. lol.

When micky says that he really means to say “To get in touch with himself”. Read the lyrics again and have THIS thought included and it should make some sense. Yes I agree with hellaakon about the whole “adding english in songs to make it sound cool” and all is rubbish! haha, I remember when I was watching BoA’s Love Letter MV…I didn’t contemplate why her first verses were english ones and not Japanese…hmm maybe I’m too much an Avid Kpopper.

^ so it was meant to be “get in touch with myself” not “touching myself” ???! WOW ! .. what he end up saying on the song in no shape and form was even close to the “meaning in mind of the lyricist” HEHEHEHEE …..

but why would anyone risk to say that line in English?!! … i swear even intermidiate English speaker can tell the meaning .. of “Boy, I wanna touch myself!” LOLOL ..

Most people in Soompi’s even have discussed widely the lines in this songs. We tough are a fans of Dbsk but wouldn’t just gulp whatever we have been give. Most of international fans are educated and not some obsessed fangirly Cassies.

Purple Line mean the other side or horizon that hard to catch but try to achieve. Like high ambition sort of. So it is stated that Junsu said that Micky acknowledge himslef as Purple Line Or high ambitious something like that and Wanna touch or whatever it is, getting introdues people to purple line.

Didnt make sense for a part of it isn’t it..:D We also has been confused and God know how much the fans has discussed about the lyrics and crtizing it but in positive way. Finally, we just let it go. I mean what more can we asked just have fun with the song. Like it hear it, didnt like it just whatever..;)

*In terms of music it will never be a perfect piece. Music always evolving and developing and it always open to critism but in fair, equal judgment,objective and positive way. We even thinking about to give them English dictionary or English tool’s learning. XDD Yes, SM should hired a prof reader and hired a profound English teacher whatever if they want to be acknowledge internationaly and also as a profesional singer and musican.

But somehow, we enjoyed their ” ENGRISH”, crtitisized it but in positive way to improve them, makefun of it in loving way but finally we just enjoyed what they presented to us. What more we can ask for. They have actually worked very hard to produce and composed something different, embark a new genres of music either it is acceptable by the fan or viewers or not. The struggles of it, we appreciated and each one have thier own opinins. Music is universal and subjective. Everyone is on their own relative preference.

Btw: Actually now we like try to conncet their solo’s single title with TRICK track in their T album. Haha, such a fun guessing game. Some of us has desperate with the tricky guessing stuff already. But they haven’t completly release all the solo’s single. Some of the songs’ Yoochun composed it. Jazz, rock, funky, ballad and acappella of course. Gosh! But I have to agreed with Hellakon in certain times, just better stick to one language unless if you have a profound prof reader. But nonetheless it ENGRISH anyway not ENGLISH. Just have fun ^-^.

the korean translations makes more sense by the way. and by purple line, it means the horizon of which.. people can come unite and cross borders (breaking barriers).

Well, if i can^-^. But I loved Himika explanation. It is more straighforward and clearer. The syenthesis, enthesis and philosophoical issues. I forget about ‘O’ lyric. At the first times when I watched what attracted me most is how they potrayed the humanity issues such as Palestinian woman cried, children suffers from war etc. Even I didnt know what the song means at that time, I can sense the issue in it. Btw: the thing that Micky wear around his shoulder is what some of my Arabian friends wear it around there shoulder too and it is part of their culture. If your observed carefuly, the writer of this post if i’m not mistaken is not a fan of dbsk. I think you should read and observed their preferences here first and all their posts that revolving Dbsk.

What i mean is, some of the writers of this blog is not fond of Dbsk not all maybe one or two of them are fan of dbsk. Therefore, they tend to be sarcastic and cynical which it is their desicion and they have the right to.
