So we assume everyone has heard by now, that BOA’s 6th album “The Face”, finally took the first place in Japanese Weekly Oricon Music Chart.
Boa previously ranked her other 5 albums in the 1st place in the Japanese Oricon Weekly Music Chart as well. Her albums included “Listen to My Heart” in 2002 to “Valenti,” “Love & Honesty,” “Outgrow” and “Made in Twenty”.
The truth on my part is that … with the downward, her single’s sale curve was going, this is quite an achievement. However, in my humble opinion the album was not all that still compared to her classic albums, Don’t you agree?
Cannot help but wonder if the hype of her being sick and tired of the business and desire for leaving it all behind studying is US or the news of her US debut had anything to do with the latest album sale! I guess we will never find out .. but sure LSM is having one of those nasty smiles these days thinking of BOA! *ewww*
Whatever, the reason behind the ranking BOA is enjoying her latest success after Oricon News made a statement that Boa has achieved the second best record in the Japanese music history after Ayumi Hamasaki, who managed to get eight albums top on the music chart.
Boa also showed her thanks through an entry on March 5, in her Japanese Oricon blog. She will soon prepare her 14-City Japanese Tour held from May 8 to June 29. This brings to mind the initial SM announcement on her US debut plans starting at the end of MARCH!??? ****** Enough with lying to us already!?!!! Feels terrible we have no voice to let them hear us!
