It is now officially confirmed that SS501 boys are the replacement of SuJu guys as the new MCs for SBS “Inkigayo” and M.Net “M!Countdown”.
As news has it SS501 will become the new MC during the live broadcast of M!Countdown on the 9th at the Hwa Gok Dong 88 sports center. Afterwards on the 13th, they will also take on the MC duty for the live broadcast of “Inkigayo” at Seoul Deung Chon Dong SBS Public Hall. Then later on for “M!Countdown”, all members will be the MC at “Inkigayo”!
If you donno what all this is about ….

Good old days “M!Countdown” was hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Shindong. Those two left their job after 2 years and 4 months of hosting the show! Super Junior started hosting the show in November 2005 with members Lee Teuk, Shindong and Kangin then the latter left and Eunhyuk filled in. According to SM Entertainment, the group’s label, the reason for leaving was because of preparations for their new album and Asian tour. Mnet had a special Adieu stage for the guys on the 27th March as the guys performed ShinDong’s solo song “울지마 / Don’t Cry” with LeeTeuk performing the song on the piano and SUSHI Jessica doing the vocals!

As for “Inkigayo” it was hosted by Kim Heechul, but because his nose got injured (originally it was said he fell down the stairs at home then they came out saying he is having a plastic surgery on his nose!) Just like you, we are confused waiting to see his new nose to confirm the rumors! Anyways, so Heechul was substitued by Kangin.

Seems like SS501 guys are not going to be permanent MCs as staff workers of “M!Countdown” have said, “It has already been decided that SS501 will be hosting the broadcasts for April. The MC afterwards is still being discussed.” Yet the staff workers of “Inkigayo” also said, “Because Kim Heechul was hurt, the period will be quite long, SS501 will assume the duty of the program host on the 13th broadcast.”
As for their activities in Japan seems like they will be having concerts on July 12-13 at the Tokyo Dome City’s JCB Hall and on 16-17 at the Nanba Hatch in Osaka.
