Hi everyone,
This is SHENYUEPOP’s first video …
Due to the time constraint, I came up with the idea of making a video to cover up the news we never got around to bring to the blog! The idea of making videos is just a temporary thing and only for testing! Please enjoy!

ahaha…your voice wasn’t what I expected ^^
It’s a pretty good recording voice and I actually really like this video style of reporting.
On the downside, you were a little hard to understand sometimes (not an accent thing, it just sounded like you were mumbling) and the wobbling camera was kind annnoying. Maybe just doing it slideshow format would be better and then you could concentrate on just speaking and not worrying about moving a camera around too.
But otherwise, I rather enjoyed that

some things i wanna say though [which is like exactly what someone else pointed out.. dangit] its a bit hard to understand what you’re saying. also the wobbling camera + blurryness wasnt too fun :[

Nice job! The thing I suggest is that you speak louder than the music. XD I know that you must be shy since it’s the first video blog but sometimes I had a hard time catching what you were saying.
I suggest that you take screenshots of the things that you want to show from the site and put it together as a slide show type thing with your voice recorded over it to replace the wobbly camera work.

but the camera started pissing me off after a while. but it was really good!

^ add a suggestion thread in the members area…and maybe you can record it…and sync it with the slide show some how..? (does chris knows how to…?)

The video blog thing is an interesting idea, but the slide show idea seems a little better.

shenyue, i know that windows comes with a program called “windows movie maker” that allows you to drop pictures and insert video clips along with audio files. i’m not sure how much you can actually do with the program since i haven’t done anything really complicated or extensive with it but you can try. it’s very easy to use.
or you can just download a movie/video editing program and experiment with that.
if you want to get an idea about how to set up a format for your video blogs, then go onto youtube and look for sxephil and his vlogs. i like the format he uses since his videos are a decent length (long enough to cover each topic but not too long to the point where it gets tiring to watch) and he adds in his own two cents in a very sarcastic and humorous manner kind of like what you guys do here.
