@sourjw- What would you rather her do, shout into the camera? Geez, people were complaining that popseoul was being all fake and sweet when she interviewed Rain… what the heck do you want her to sound like? Same with Shenyue. And she’s probably not even trying to sound all soft and sweet. It could just be her normal voice.

Ooo, I like the idea of a video blog. When I browse kblogs during breaks at work, sometimes the pictures are blocked. Fortunately, youtube is never blocked.

In future videos can you add more captions showing the original source(s)? I don’t mind the background music and I think using your own voice makes the video seem more personal. I can understand the positives and negatives to using audio. Maybe you could try a test video with a slide show of pictures, background music, and a running feed of subtitles. Also, maybe you could have a banner contest?

I agree, I do have to put my volume way up to hear you, but you do have a soothing voice but sometimes you sound monotone and kind of awkward (sorry). I’m sure with more practice and more of these vid blogs, you’ll be a natural. But whatever..this site isn’t for profit nor are you making us pay so perhaps we shouldn’t bash you so much (buuut if we did have to pay, then you understand that we would want our money’s worth since I’m a greedy fan). I wouldn’t have the guts to do what you did. I’ll just end up freezing and putting my hissing cat against the microphone. Though you got some good info in your news.

i have to say, be a little more energetic..be happi..u seemed to stumble around on sum parts..do it like the news–go straight into it..BUT THEN AGAIN U DO SOUND MORE REAL..ur voice is very low..maybe next time, adjust the volume of the recorder instead of speaking louder..its still a test, so ull do fine in the near future..

about the volume … is it sad if i tell you the recording volume was on the max while i did this just as the speaker LOLOLOL my voice is so low .. i have problem asking questions in the large classrooms as well .. the professor never hears me enough .. someone up front needs to repeat it out for him LOL i donno why … that’s why i can’t even sing either .. cuz the music always is louder than i am … i once did an audition (not that i went to one … i was discovered lol ) and they told me they loved my voice but when they did the testing in the studio .. they found out my voice is very low to be used! there doesn’t seems any cure for this TT_____TT cuz they instead put me in the choir the behind the music part! and i it was a 2 person choir and they repeated my voice lololol!

about being more energetic .. remember all the bashing you guys did on this past couple days … and some low life keeps hacking this blog for 2 days in a row!! what do you expect me to sound like? cheerful?

all the news are translations by fan clubs of the artists of the Korean news sources … if you are a Korean .. i am sure you will have no problem finding the sources .. since the news are always from the main news sources … but i can’t start crediting the news and traslators.. cuz if i do .. then they’ll go as far as demanding crediting the pictures as well .. it will be such a mess on your part reading all that many lines and such! but i can type the quotes next time ^^

but my voice is so low by nature .. it was hard to be heard
due to suggestions i removed the background music this time.

your speaking english ability was okay so i was wondering what’s up with the blog posts that were full of grammatical errors and poor vocabulary? what’s up with that? another writer perhaps?

I wrote what I thought about her voice which clearly wasn’t bashing.
I just thought she was holding it back. I know I don’t her, so i wouldn’t know her normal voice tone.

I never said I wanted her to yell or i hated her voice.

Its a unique idea to sum up korean news.
She need feedback from the readers to see what she can improve on. Maybe shes nervouse or shy when recording? thats what I was thinking.. because she sounded a bit reserved and holding it back.

No wonder why I never heard that song before on her album. It sounds really nice.

I’ll try to explain what I meant by “slide show of pictures, background music, and a running feed of subtitles”. It would kind of be just like a longer version of the first 20 seconds of your video. Instead of talking over your pictures, you would just play background music as a fill in. And do you know how they scroll those news tickers at the bottom of CNN or any other news channel? I was thinking of something like that to replace what you say. Subtitles was a confusing word choice, but it was all I could think of. The info in your vlog seemed more entertainment news reporting than opinionated commenting so I guess that’s why I was thinking of a more news reporting style.

Again, I think your talking makes the vlogs more personal. But people can generally read much faster than listening and you could fit a lot more in with text and pictures.

hey can you tell me the song you used in the beginning??

I love the vlog, but it may help to write down what you want to say about each section. That way you can easily read from one page rather than click through different pages to find the information.

You have an awesome voice it makes me really relaxed and calm, but don’t be scared to talk up some parts i had to turn the sound up really loud to hear you.

Can’t wait till the next vlog.
