What’s the point of performing other artist’s song if you can’t even show your appreciation? I thought SNSD received manner lessons before debut, didn’t they tell us that during GGTS? If they did, they sure didn’t show it during Tell Me performance.
And look at this “yoona and sooyoung didn’t sing b/c of their tight schedules.

SNSD has stronger vocals.
WG has better stage presence.
But when it comes down to it, both suck; good vocals without stage presence (or charisma) equates to failure as a performer unless the vocals are so outstanding they blow the audience’s mind–which they aren’t. Stage presence with the inability to sing detracts from the overall performance because the performer is attempting to sing, not stand around looking pretty.
On another note, I find both songs aggravating, but at least KY performed by SNSD is a full out cheerful pink sparkly song with invisible pink unicorns fluttering around and doesn’t try or bother to hide that fact… with WG performing it’s not nearly as sparkly… which rather ruins it for me, since I like it as a cheerful pink sparkly song with invisible pink unicorns fluttering around. That’s the point of the song.

It seems like everyone noticed that SNSD wasn’t smiling very much during their performance…there’s a reason why.
One acute observer noticed that Wondergirls’ fans were booing SNSD and shouting “We don’t like you” (shirayo) “We hate you/You are mean” (Miwoyo) in Korean. You can hear it around 2:12 – 2:16, during sooyung’s dance. Wow, that’s why SNSD girls looked mad and embarrassed. Either they were forcing back their tears (like Yoona) or they were really pissed (like Jessica and Tiffany).
SM meticulously edited out the background booing and shouts by Wondergirl fans…that’s lame. But you can still catch it during Sooyoung’s perf. Thanks for the heads up…haha, they totally deserve it. Scumbags.
Honestly …The SNSD girls got good voice, better than the WG Girls. But the vibe that I got from them are they are not relaks, trying to hard and they are not enjoying being on the stage. Taeyon voice is too over powering, she need to tone down it a bit, Sunny going too high, Seo hyon is great, her voice fit this song, I don’t like jessica voice and this song doesn’t change my opinion, tiffany quite ok, yuri and hyo yeon are not on par with yoo bin. And the omona part…well, leave it to sohee girls.
For me it’s a matter who entertain me more. They are an IDOL singer/star so the whole package is what counted. The talent along with looks, personality, stage presence, great choreography, great songs and being true to them selves make me love WG more. They are having fun on stage…love it. Go WG..!!

WG didn’t do as good. It wasn’t because “KY” was bad, but because only one to two members can sing. They didn’t even sing for that long of a time and “KY” is obviously longer than that. WG isn’t used to songs that require vocal ability because they have a “who cares? we’re ‘hot’” mentality.
SNSD did sound odd at times. The omonas were awkward because people are used to seeing WG doing it 87486789 times. Sunny’s voice was wtf and Tiffany came in a little late, but all in all, they did better.
