Maybe its the word “Unfortunately” associated with the Philippino/Filipino came accross as a derogatory remark. Ever thought about that? I’m not well educated regarding the Philippine People but I’m sure they are wonderful. Lets all get along – promote unity. We are all Asian.

Trying to be funny doesn’t give anyone the right to say anything they want to say.

All people are racist? That way of thinking doesn’t allow growth. what should we do about that? Surely you do not suggest we keep quiet when people make an unacceptable comment?

As other people suggested. If I took offense in anything shenyuepop stand for – I should fill my craving for Korean Entertainment New somewhere else. I think thats an excellent Idea. A suggestion I will gladly take -starting today!

…why are people accusing you guys of being racist? They should know, all people are racist, so its inevitable to encounter it. Blah.

Oh yes, I’m not a SNSD fan at all, but they actually bring in a lot of money for SM. I dn’t remember it exactly, but I think they sold like a record number of albums? Some number that was considered outrageously large in Korea. But yeah. Just saying.

It’s Filipino and not Philippino. The Philippines was colonized by Spain for 300 years and was named ‘Filipinas’; after King Philip II. Hence the term Filipino. It did not change ever since the colonization.
