Yea… SMASH isn’t like all the rest of the idol groups dominating k-music now…not at all! *We don’t lip-sync…* What a joke! With their generic pop song and choreography, fake-looking Heechul, and Taemin-wannabe – mustn’t forget the token scene of them standing in the rain trying to be all sexy…please~ SMASH isn’t smashing ANYTHING! The song is ok, I guess, but nothing special. They’re not gonna defeat the real idols – DBSK, Super Junior, Big Bang, SS501 or newbie, SHINee – with that song.

DNT is interesting – I have to see them live to really make a judgment.

You dipshit, the article doesn’t say anything about SMASH or DNT being sensational enough to take over well-established idol groups, like Big Bang as you mentioned. Yeah, they don’t even come close to DBSK, SHINee, BB, SUJU…whateva. But what in the article would imply that SYP is stupid….you’re the one that’s retarded. The article simply highlights some positive points about each new boyband that some seem to fail (like you) to point out, while just blabbing biased declarations.

i hope they’re better then shinee- they only got popular cause of sm.

The first close up guy from SMASH mv looks a bit like Changmin in the video and his voice sounds like him too, at that moment.

DNT: The ballad + dance thing was weird, maybe it’s because the song’s not all that? I dunno, but it didn’t impress me.
SMASH: They look like they could be impressive but we just have to see if they’re REAL talent or just manufactured boyband crap.

I’m willing to give them a try. So far my LOVE is for BIG BANG – you can’t deny each of the member’s talent and awesome charisma. Plus most of their songs kick@ss and they can really ‘bring it’ during their performances.

Dragon N Tiger….I read Drunken Tiger. I open to new bands all the time. This year has been a boy band year.

They just debuted they can’t be compared to already established groups who some have been out for a few years.

DNT doesn’t look that good right now, really weird music and moves….plus a totally cheap MV.
but SMASH looks like it might go far! As a newbie group, they have very nice choreography and vocals. Although the MV felt very cliche at parts, it was still very good to watch. We’ll just have to wait and see if they have what it takes to be the next big thing.

DnT, the song is lame? Not very impressive, I’d expect stronger vocals with their songs… well can’t say it precisely, but very lacking. And the MV seems very cheep and … what’s with all the smoke?

SMASH on the otherhand is very impressive. The song is ok, not catchy enough for me, but they’re good. Stage present is very well. The MV reminds me of Super Junior’s U MV… and the member’s concept? Lookes like all boybands mixed together. Wang Zi, Heechul, Taemin, Vaness Wu, some other guy from SHINee, Ryeowook… xDDD

I like SMASH’s debut song much better than I like DnT’s.

DNT has a decent song, but their concept isn’t new. JYP’s new boyband already has the whole dual thing. And their video looks extremely low budget.

SMASH’s song isn’t catchy, but they dance well. They all look like SOMEONE ELSE, and they lipsynched their debut performance? Already a no. Not even Shinee did that, okay.

So far, I’m leaning towards DNT… although they both seem pretty generic at this point.

I thought DNT showcased their voices well in the MV, but the song is not that great.

As for SMASH, I think 5 out of the 6 are good-looking (all minus the Changmin lookalike). The song is “eh” but it grew on me as I kept listening to it – however, it’s still just “alright”.
I want to give this group SMASH a chance because of Tony An (H.O.T). If he sees potential in these boys, then I’ll give them a shot. Plus, I think Jerry (the one with the wannabe Heechul hair) is hotness after seeing some of his predebut pics. What can I say? I’m a sucker for eye-candy.

Yes, SMASH lipsynced on their debut performance BUT didn’t they did dance excellently. I’m sure they’ll improve if we give them a chance.

I wonder why DNT hasn’t made a debut performance AND they already have their mini-album out?
What irked me about their MV was the stupid extra dancer(s) which got many of us confused since we all knew there’s only 4 people in DNT. But the dance thing made it look like 5. My reaction is “WTH?” how lame to just need one backup dancer – might as well use none! Anyway, when are they gonna debut? Looks like the company isn’t doing a good job in exposing these boys.

Ok, I gave these newbies a chance. I was really impressed by Smash’s video. I love the 90’s! (Still a Backstreet Boys fan) So their 90’s style video made me happy. Man, HanBang and Jerry are so hot! I can’t look at Hero that way, because he’s younger than me.
As for DNT, I wasn’t impressed. The purpose of singing ballads, is to swoon girls-and I wasn’t the least bit swooned. Though, the guy with the animal print shirt was hot.
