hey guys…im asian (filipino) and um. im not a fan of BoA that much but she inspired my to be a dancer with her korean version of the the video. but her american version SUCKED! and her song got me addicted!! and um guys…. if you think BoA has the voice of a mice, cause asians (koreans, japanese. chinese, taiwanese) ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE THAT! its their natural voice! why comment on it?! i used to listen japanese songs and it doesn’t bother me that their voice is like that! its like high pitched something. thats how asians sounds like! believe me!

The video posted there is the American version by Martel. Its not being used anymore and is actually removed from any official boa site. The teaser remains though. They use the superior Asian version now for both America and Asian countries. Her voice in Eat you up isn’t computer aided of course except for the obvious ones. I f you watch her recording Eat you up, it sounds exactly the same as the one in the MVs.(the main lines that is not the obvious computer aided echo voice thingy)

A year ago I saw a video of boa & Xiah Junsu of DBSK singig a duet..A Whole new World..& she didn’t really deliver because 1) her accent was really heavy 2) her diction was terrible 3) Xiah Junsu’s singing totally eclipsed her.

In this song I Eat You Up. her singing prowess or the lack of it is evident…the singing is really heavily computer-aided.

hmmmmm…. I don’t know. I really like the choreography for both the MVs she’s done. It is amazing but I just don’t think the song was fantastic. I’ve always thought Boa was more dancy than singer but that’s just me. I just feel when she sings her voice is so unstable but I like it at times but it’s not a favourite. Good luck to her anyway!
