They just go with what pleases the fangirls, which is why DBSK won so many awards they don’t really deserve. If some solo artist, or an actual songwriter won the awards the fangirls would go crazy, and say that the award shows have no integrity. Then they’d try to back up their statements with sales figures (as if that means the music is any good). It’s really pathetic.

I am so going to watch clips of the awards tomorrow! Although I like the fact that TVXQ, Wonder Girls and Big Bang won some of the best awards, I do have to agree that I feel bad about other groups. There are so many groups out there who are also working hard, but the fan groups of the popular groups these days are really overpowering everyone. I am not saying that I am unhappy that they won since I support them myself, but it will be good to recognize other artist’s worth. Is it just me, or is there too many celebrities in Korea? I am not saying that I don’t like their entertainment, but it’s just that there are so many actors and singers who kind of vanish from the scene since there are too many of them.

As for Lily, I wonder why on earth she even bothers coming here if she thinks that ShenYuePop is horrible with the updating. There are other sites where she can get her sources from and they update almost everyday. I don’t mind the fact that ShenYuePop does not update 24/7. After all, a lot of other sites tend to post the most useless articles or they start rumors for the spite of having some “news”. At least this site offers long articles that are not pointless.

People who complain about those who are doing stuff out of their own interest without even getting paid should learn to appreciate the world and not take things for granted. I don’t see the whiners doing anything other than sitting behind their laptops or computers dealing with various things in their life.

Just because someone works hard, doesn’t mean they deserve awards. Music awards should go to people who actually have good MUSIC, yet real musicians never win these things. It’s more of a popularity contest.

It’s pretty ridiculous that TVXQ won the “Best ALBUM award” because their album was just a bunch of generic pop, and yes I have listened to it.

Why do you assume that everyone who doesn’t write positive comments is an anti? Not everyone wastes their time to deliberately hate on celebrities that they don’t give a shit about. I was just stating the truth as I saw it. They aren’t musicians.

Sure, they may be nice guys, but that doesn’t mean they deserve the awards. They sell because of their looks, personalities, and dancing. Music awards imo, shouldn’t be given out because of large sales, because it doesn’t mean the music is any good, it just means they have a large fanbase. Real musicians deserve some recognition, but the state of the music industry around the world right now indicates that none of them will be getting any.

That’s fine with me, because I don’t think they need any recognition from silly awards shows that don’t mean anything, but the people who are in it for the love of the music could benefit from that kind of exposure instead of starving off scraps. I just wish real musicians wouldn’t have to struggle to release their great music, just because a bunch of pretty boys get everything offered to them on a plate.

I agree, DBSK won because of those fangirls, they’re just selling their looks. But I have to say that Big Bang deserve those awards that they won, because they actually write some of their songs, Lies and Haru Haru are the songs that won them their awards last year and this year, who are also written by G-Dragon. Wondergirls won because I guess their looks too but their songs are damn catchy.

Sometimes I may not agree with the posts on this site..but that’s natural between humans. But I dare not instruct you on how to run your OWN blog. And the writers of Shenyue are human…and they can reach their max tolerance level of negative comments. I would find it hurtful at times if there are readers who think they know better. Sometimes readers start to act as if they are paying customers (always demanding out of this world service). But at the same time, us readers can’t expect writer who can be immature as well…..there’s need to be some kind of balance, man! If no agreement can be made..and the criticism and fights continue, perhaps I suggest this blog become private and be only open to friends and others who share your opinions…eh? I mean…all of you who keep complaining…why even bother coming back to this site if it will never meet your expectations (if Shenyue won’t change their ways)? You can find a lot more objective Kpop entertainment blogs on the web.

Please stop bashing TVXQ! WG and BB.. It’s really not their fault. It’s their job to make money and bring joy to their fans. It’s just too bad some FCs are too weak to fight for their own idols that’s why they did not won any awards. If you really like your idols to achieve something, you should help them because they don’t get the success by their own hands only, they get from their supporters like families, friends and fans. I guess you’d realize by now hopefully that you probably offend people with what you carelessly said.
I for one thing, absolutely loved the MIROTIC album, and all the songs. Their vocals never fail to impress me, and there were tons of catchy songs in there (that weren’t just generic pop thank you very much).

They worked on that album for 1.7 years. Give them a break already. Granted, they came back with that album for just a short few months, and a while before MKMF actually came around, but they totally swept the stages and worked extremely hard during those few months back in Korea.
Can you honestly not blame the fans for being happy?
And by the way, the voting on MKMF only counts as 20%, while the rest is by judging.
