Boys over Flowers filming may be over, but the suicide that hung over its end of actress Jang JaYun is an ongoing topic.

The actress who had committed suicide on the 7th of this month, had people questioning her reasons for it from the get go. Depression was the first indication, and soon after her manager had released the first page of a large ‘diary’ the departed had given to him… (Just in case, anything had happened to her, these documents were to be given to her family)… People started wondering the real reasons of the talented actresses act of desperation.

the first page holds her thumb print and signature and a declaration of truth.

This first page was the beginning of the drama that is still sending the media and the public in to shock. In this ‘diary’, the late Jang JaYun speaks of her mistreatement and abuse from her management company and a specific PD.

The late talent, had been beaten, sent threatening messages, and also forced to sleep with PDs, basically being a call girl/escort for most of her time. Her manager says that the contents of the ‘diary’ is disturbing and that her abuse had been long running. Even after the actress had gone to seek help from her agency, she was beaten and told to withstand it. The actress confessed that she had to go ahead with all these acts because she was weak emotionally and financially.

Everything is just so tragic, it’s just something that should have been avoided. Everything, her struggling, her abuse and the ruthless assholes that drove her to it.

Some rich and “powerful” people think that with success and having to hold the keys of success, they can achieve all that they can, and get whatever they please… Whether it happened to hurt someone or not.

Honestly, it hurts to see that this is the result of her abuse, it’s extremely saddening to see her life being sacrificed for this… Yet, at least she will hopefully not die in vain, and her memory and soul will have justice, and it will serve as an example to all those assholes planning such things and doing such things in order to give people “promised success”.

Even in such dire moments and distress she didnt want others to suffer the same fate, and I see that as admirable. Although I completely disagree with her suicide, she did something that took so much more strength than she ever imagined she had.

Justice, thats the one thing you want to see. And hopefully the only end result, I wish all the strength in the world to be passed on to her family and her courageous manager in his efforts. I just hope that he doesnt only find suicide as the only end. (He is currently hospitalized after attempting suicide himself.)

Looking at the industry, it’s deeply disturbing to even begin to imagine what some have had to go through. Succes after harship is to be expected, but for these bigshots that can give you, your “big break”, making that hardship in to something so morally damning, so disgusting and abhorrent, taking advantage of these peoples dreams… I think we can all agree that they have to be stopped, these talents also need to know that suicide is not the only answer. I hope that others who have been subject to such abuse, will step up and take action to those that have abused them and that the Government will give them great support in obtaining their justice. Goodness knows, that some of these people have great connections and the Governments support is greatly needed in order to stop such abuse from continuing.

Jang JaYun, Rest In Peace.
