The last picture was not me, but it was defiantly NOT SANDRA PARK either! On the other hand, this one is me meeting Your Hotness Lee MIN HOT in person! Unfortunately, the meeting didn’t last long, since he had to get on with selling more coffees for the day! ^^!
I have been in Seoul, South Korea for the last week of April and I gotta tell you, it was such an eye opening experience (KPOP-WISE THAT IS)! The truth of the matter is that, traveling there proved it to me that KPOP in general is DEAD in Korea! And with this realization almost all my questions got answered!
Questions like,
why isn’t there any paparazzi in Korea?
why all these celebrities are being shipped to other countries?
why their TV shows’ highest rating is maximum 30%? and etc..
Well, here is the frank answer for yall! it’s cause no one freaking cares about them! Well, except for some bored out of their mind Ajumma’s (a live example of which was the one in the place we stayed at, who would smile wide making wave moves with her body while watching them on TV and clapping *rolling eyes*) and middle-schoolers!?

Other than some posters in the representative shops these celebrities endorse (which by the way no one cares if its a Godzilla on the wall or it’s Kibum) there is absolutely no sign of these people elsewhere! Its to the point that their CF or MV is being shown on the wide ass TV screens in the subway or in the malls and people would have cared more if it was a cow or a donkey Aw-EEing its way away!
I didn’t see/hear anyone “absolutely” anyone listening to KPOP songs on their MP3 players (OH YEAH, I had my Sherlock Shen’s moments), I have visited CD stores, no one would even go toward the Korean CD shelves! I didn’t see a sign of any of these crazes these singers self-create and promote, for all those SNSD fans out there … all over Seoul I didn’t even see a single poster or sign of their existence AWWWWWWWWWW! Now, surprisingly I heard KARA “Honey” being played in Malls and people actually knew who they were, I heard lots of signs of Super Junior “Sorry, Sorry” (that is one time in a Taxi, one time in one clothing store, one time some groups of boys in the GyeongBokgung Palace started singing it upon seeing us passing them, and that was because those English words were the only ones they could probably come up with on top of their head) I also heard Davichi “My Man” when I was about to ride on the ‘French Revolution’ which was some sort of a roller coaster in the Lotte World! Other than these few incident over a span of 7-8 days, that WAS all of KPOP in Korea for you!

Speaking of Lotte World, while I was there “Yoonha” performed and no one freaking cared! She was so not wanted that ended up singing medley of her 2 songs and left quickly! (I have nothing against her i swear to God! After all she is the most talented of them out there anyways) But there were these 3 dudes before her though, that i had absolutely no idea who they were nor ever had heard any of their songs the performed! But once they were up there people started screaming and ran from every angles toward them. I assure you they were none of the KPOP folks we know! Unfortunately, right at that very moment I had purchased my hotdog and just found a right seat in a perfect spot ready to have a bite, so i didn’t bother to loose my seat to go closer to the stage to find out what the hype was about!

^ Glimpse of the stage in LOTTE WORLD (some dude was sining when i took the pic)
But once it was Yoonha’s turn i doubt if there was even 10 people down there watching her! Just then I was up there riding on different games, and since people around me didn’t even care if it was a live or dead person singing down there, didn’t motivate me tad bit to loose my spot to go see her up close! Nonetheless, to prove you my point I managed to catch couple minutes of her performance while i was about to hop into the train!
It was absolutely a shock to me to find out these KPOP so called “Celebrities” that we are so much into are not even wanted back in their own country! Makes you feel retarded, i swear!

But it explained Yoonha’s desperdado-cutesy-looking new image for her recent comeback (wearing her headband on her forehead? how else can she ask for attention) and counting numbers on her song? I bet even kindergarten kids are too mature for the song, which explains why she apparently has given up promoting it and started singing to other people’s song! Did she just sing “GEE” or I am hallucinating? Man, she so reminds me of Mandy More’s last efforts to stay in the business by singing to Rhianna’s “Umbrella”! Pfffff! I really hope things gets better for her though, specially since she was the only one of these kpoppers i actually ever heard her live, I don’t really want her to disappear anytime soon!

For those DBSK fans .. I have something to burn your bottoms!
I bought the fan Jaejoong wore around his neck <333333333
back in August 2008 in SMTOWN concert ^^... *faint*
Korea is the land of CUTENESS ~~~~~~~~~~
You could not make me stop buying shit LOL!
Conclusion that Korea is so much more than KPOP! And it's absolutely unfortunate that we don't get to see what this wonderful country really is about through KPOP and KDRAMAS! The truth is that what we are wasting our time with is really are not a good representation of the rich culture and breath-taking civilization!

As for pictures of mine …
I decided to put them on my cyworld ^^….
Cuz that way i could comment on them as well ..
And they would always be there (won’t get lost in the blog)
So head over there if you want to see them <3
I’m sorry for my antis if i am not that ugly-lifeless-40 years old-obese-freak you have been always prayed me to look like! The only reason I didn’t feel comfortable to post pictures of my face is the fact some of you shallow-minded antis recently turned out to be the lowest of lows wishing me death and whatnot on the last post!
Comments like …“i hope you die on your trips. we dont want you back”
All of that just because of how I express my opinion about music and public images of some celebrity that neither of us actually know on MY OWN BLOG !? *shaking head*
Looks like you had nice trip =] Glad your back
