Wow, I can always understand that your blogs are your thoughts and most of the time I appreciate your writing methods but I am really dissappointed in this blog and now question the validity of your other blogs.

I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I think it is wrong for you to state your own opinions of a Country as fact. Saying KPOP is dead, saying Koreans dont listen to their own music etc is not something you can say so lightly especially to people who havent been to Korea for themselves. I’m very glad I’ve actually been to Korea to KNOW what you state isnt true, otherwise I would have been fooled too.

First of all your examples of why KPOP is dead is completely INVALID. Saying in CD shops people are never at the KPOP bit- that doesnt prove anything and the fact that you’re not there 24/7 at every single CD shop shows your selective view is extremely unreliable. About hearing KPOP around and on people’s mp3s… ok, let’s say you really did look over at what people were listening to, but how many people? 3? ok lets say 10 or 100.. does that represent THE POPULATION OF KOREA.

From my experience, I hear KPOP every where and from hearing it everywhere you can really tell what songs are popular at the time. Of course there is American music but it definitely does not dominate like you imply. Also, if KPOP was dead and no one cares, I dont think companies will bother investing in the large amount that it costs in using celebs as faces of their product. And ok, lets say I saw a Rain poster on the tube, what am I going to do? Run over and hug it? Talk about it until it’s out of my sight??

If you want to see REAL KOREAN FANS then do what I did. Go to ALL 4 music shows. MNET Mcountdown, Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo. These are the places you can really experience the REAL fans if thats what you’re looking for. But in fact, lets say the thousands of people who you might have walked past on the street, unless they are holding a balloon how in the World will you know that they arent fans of KPOP and are not listening to KPOP??

I really do not appreciate the false image you’re giving Korea.

honestly, if you think youre better than shenyue START ACTING LIKE IT. youre bashing her and you dont know her, just like shes bashing snsd and she doesnt know them. youre being extremely hypocritical. im not taking either side because both have their faults.
people who are telling her to go die and whatever, this is getting ridiculous. so what? she disses someone you happen to like? move on. stop coming back to this blog then. dont like it, dont read it. its simple, really.
its not like shes threatening your mother or something. so take the stick out of your ass and calm down.
