You see, the difference between me and an Anti is that despite what you may think, I happen to like all of the above mentioned girl groups. They all have their unique charms. I accept them for who they are, and this would include both their strengths and flaws.

Well, for one, your article has no substance. It’s just another pointless banter (but i knew that already). I’m not going to ‘diss’ the author or call her a bitch (even if she sounds like one) but I do have something to say.

I am an avid SNSD fan and have been ever since their debut, maybe even before that. And as a fan, I did not particularly like the way she described them, but I realize that arguing with her does not do anything. A person can hate a person and will never change their mind about that person. The same holds true for fans, well true fans. If they truly like them, their opinions of them will never change. I don’t get easily swayed by mindless accusations and insults, so if the point of this article was to turn avid fans, like myself, into antis, it doesn’t work. Just how fans praising them will not turn an anti around.

However, I do think there’s a reason why antis are antis. I know this sounds like a repetition, but the cause for this hatred is actually jealousy. And NO, I’m not talking about a person being jealous about a celebrity because they want to be in their place, I’m talking about their jealousy towards celebrities who are popular while their favourite celebrity does not reach the same popularity.

This is often the case because a person would LOVE to see their idol getting a lot of attention and praise, but if that person sees that it is not happening, and instead going towards another band that they think is not worthy of it, they will eventually dislike them.

There are actually plenty of other reasons, but I don’t want to list them all because I could actually write an essay on this subject.

to Mia: The covers seriously had nothing to do with the girls. SM changed the cover because in the end, it would make him look like a fool. It would be pointless to blame the girls for the plane, since A.) they didn’t design it and B.) they probably didn’t know what was going to be on their cover and C.) Even if they did, if it wasn’t for the fact some bored netizen digged up history, they probably didn’t know what it is.

I seriously highly doubt that SNSD needs anybody else’s help. There’s tons of collabs, yet only the collabs involving SNSD are always criticized. SUJU collaborated with DBSK. Big Bang collaborated with WG bunch of times. SNSD has a pretty strong fan base (even if some of them are crazy -.-). They only make those two collab since SNSD was suppose to be like Super Junior when they debuted. (Kinda like how The Grace were suppose to be like DBSK).

Okay…I am a SNSD fan…I have been since I saw their debut/documentary…

first off…I don’t know why you all are blaming everything on the girls themselves…when it’s really their managers and everyone who work with them who tell them what to do, what to wear, what their songs are going to be like, their image, all of that…

the main problem with Korean Entertainment is that they give very little freedom to the artists themselves, especially in the first two years or so…especially SM Entertainment…it’s why FTTS and Shinhwa initially left, because they wanted more creative freedom…

So for those of you going around about the “cute” image and then turning around and being “sexy”…well it’s what’s been decided for them by other people

and about this being Shenyue’s blog…I understand you don’t like SNSD…that’s fine…I have respect for other people’s likes and dislikes…but it’s just showing how immature you are when all you can do is specifically bash their looks and talk about how they can’t seem to do anything right…

a good, smart blogger would give credit where credit is due and I feel that SNSD has gotten a lot better…their choreography has gotten a lot more in sync, on variety shows they are a lot more quiet and they are getting better that way, their vocals have improved…

and about the album cover? SM did the smart thing by taking it out early and fixing it…yet you can’t even be big enough to say they made a mistake and they’re quick to fix it…

Answer: After School are grown women in their 20’s an above (excluding Uee who wasn’t included in their “Ah” promotions anyway). Also the “Ah” lyrics consisted of After School basically saying how they loved a guy and how he had no choice but to fall for them because they’re so hot. The lyrics weren’t very sexual at all (or demeaning).

The other kpop news sites or blogs are obsessed with snsd, so since I dislike the group, I don’t care that taeyeon got a head cold or jessica is dating whoever. Shenyue does not talk about snsd that often, therefore I can come here and enjoy myself without having to see anything pertaining to snsd, most of the time.
