Anyway I agree with waruihime that there are more important things to fight for, but, helpng the boys (and in the long prospect to all the idols) is nothing bad either. And buying SM staff is going to help nobody, but SM. So, being united is a good thing and putting pressure over SM is a better thing ;P

The fans are too much, they’re no far from SM Entertainment now. I’m a fan too but I would never do such a thing. The fans are being too selfish now, what benefit will that bring to anyone? I’m pretty much sure that even TVXQ themselves would not want/allow such things to happen. That boycott thing is really ridiculous. To all the people behind this idea, WAKE UP!! This is not the proper thing to show your idols your support and sure there are a lot of more important things to kill your time with.

Cassies who are actually planning to join this boycott are just ridiculous idiots. Its almost evil that they’re actually trying to plan to bring the company down just because they dare to not to agree with DBSK’s wishes.

Does no one realize that if SM goes down, that’ll it’ll also have an effect on OTHER artists. I sure as hell would not to follow this boycott, even if I do like DBSK.

I wish the legal stuff could be handled in a civilised way and not with the crazy Cassies(yes I know some are still sane) depicting the boys as helpless babies, especially when they have such a horrendously scary fanbase *scratch that* army backing them up.

I don’t understand those comments about not boycotting. You guys are joking, right? No matter what the reason, boycotting a company like SM can’t be wrong if you’re a consumer who feels you’re being ripped off. News of SM mistreating idols and cancelling events would piss me off too if I were a card carrying Cassie. Not to mention the fact that SM ENT is an extortion machine at best. Ripping kids off left & right, but as long as people are willing to bend over they’ll keep doing it. I think it’s awesome that they’re trying to hit SM where it hurts. As a consumer, you have every right to fight against something you don’t like. First, I don’t see how this isn’t showing support. They’re fighting for better TVXQ rights amongst other things. Supporting your idols is nice, but not if it interferes with what you believe in. In this case, not being ripped off by SM anymore. Holy Shit. Stop getting sucked into the fucking system. This is completely false? The crazy fangirls are trying to make up some facts to get people on their cause? DBSK has gotten 2 million dollars each for their album sales alone, and that’s excluding promotions and stuff. Who would be stupid enough to follow this pack of lies?

Lol. Doesn’t DBSK profit from the merchandise as well? This will only hurt DBSK more since their activities in Korea are frozen. They need to earn this money to pay for their lawyers. DBSK have 800k fans and yet their album doesn’t sell as much. If the fans are that concern why not just each of them donate money to get DBSK out of the contract. Since they can pay that amount of money to join and also buy expensive gift to their idols.

Sm is now starting to have Shinee replace (we’ve seen how it works before, H.O.T to Shinwa to DBSK = replace) them and I don’t blame him. Heck if I were SM i’ll make sure I’ll put the fan girls on check and tell them who the boss is (call me petty).

The boycott isn’t only for TVXQ. Fans want to boycott SM’s general unfair practices to their employees as well as the consumers. What’s wrong with that? SM can try to keep fangirls in check by doing whatever they want to TVXQ, but it will never work out in their favour. Otherwiwse, don’t you think they would have already done something about this? SM isn’t a stupid company–they know who’s bringing the money in (TVXQ) and where it’s coming from (fans). They’re going to want to keep all those people happy if they want to stay alfoat in the industry.

I think people should stop thinking of this in the whole “Fans supporting their idols” sense and more of a customer relations sense, to fully understand cass.

Its more of a matter of dignity, outrage and pride, as well as supporting their idols. If you were starving and someone came over and handed you a plate of food and spit on it while you were on your knees, would you take it? That’s what SM basically do. Whether it be, half assed promotions (DBSKs comeback after 2 years of “starvation” was what? 3 months), version A B C D E F G of the same album with just a few songs added or promoting a single in another country while they were supposed to be focusing on Korea. That’s them virtually spitting in their food.

How much money do you think Cass shell out with all the ridiculous amount of merchandise SM sell? A hell of a lot. How much do you think SM get? A hell of a lot.

I think people commenting saying they’re “Batshit” and being “selfish” and that they have to get off their “high horses” are being seriously un-fair, close-minded and not even attempting to think of it in their shoes.

Why the hell should they feed the company that’s draining their boys and having it not benefit them and their boys in the end.

ALSO, try and start thinking of them as not just fans, but as consumers. The customer is always right. Keep the customer happy and you will reap rewards. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

People need to stop being so gullible. If SM were so innocent, why the hell are they pointing the finger at everybody else trying to make out like they’re the victims. Why would they separate the boys not involved in the business (Yunho and Min suddenly had a need to act, oh and shockingly enough their co-stars are SM ACTRESSES! And Mins is FUNDED by SM! HOMG! what a coincidence)?. Why would they make such a big deal out of the cosmetics company JaeChunSu invested in? Why would they claim figures and then not even have anything to show for it? Why would they mention the expensive gifts they apparently got them (Though the cars they got them are underneath SMs name) when the issue at hand is how much they are getting paid?

Talented artists should not be treated like slaves, if not for the talent would sm have any money at all. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

go cassies! although i’m not a TVQX’s fan but i support what the fans are doing. it’s not just something that fans do just because they are too bored or lame. in the first place, SM was the one that brought TVQX to fame, so if SM treated their boys fairly, no one will be so dumb as to start this campaign which will hurt TVQX. and paying for the membership and not getting what was promised is simply ridiculous and their boycotting is reasonable.

those who said that these fans are making a big fuss for nothing, then apparently, they are not one of those fans who paid the membership fees and get nothing promised in return. if SM didn’t promise anything, then fine. but they did but yet time and time again, it was always not fulfilled, causing dissapointment. e.g: you spend $2000 on a gadget but in the end, the gadget is faulty and cranky. would you still want to buy it again? the same theory goes for why the fans are boycotting SM. and they are not only fighting on behalf of TVQX but also all their artists under them.

and if you still think that it’s unreasonable, just take a look at the profit sharing ratio. it’s beyond ridiculous, seriously. does it even make sense to you? imagine you are a artist under SM, for all the hard work you put in, in the end you are exploited. if up to here, you still don’t get my point, then you should go get a checkup. because any one with basic common sense will see the light.
