It’s a BOY!

I didn’t plan on having two posts back to back but….The new “girl” group f(x) have us all confused.

Firstly, I recognise none of them, secondly, the second person is definitely a boy, the middle chick forgot to wear her pants, and the poor girl on the far right wasn’t aware she was being photographed apparently.

And most of all, it looks like a bad knock off of this picture:

Main difference, none of the Kara girls look out of place and actually look good and professional.

Also turns out SM have their genius team of wonderment on the case with f(x),and have finally revealed the meaning of their name. And this is a big one folks, so get ready for this…

The F stands for FLOWER and the (X) stands for XX (female chromosomes). Sound familiar?

It looks like the folks at SM haven’t just been watching porn, no no, they’ve been busy keeping up with this years major trends… BOYS OVER FLOWERS!!! It’s not F4, it’s SMs very own (knock off again) F5, but to keep things somewhat comprehensive, they decided to drop the number, add in brackets and an X for the genial code XX. Problem is…. I’m pretty sure they’re not all female!

Seeing their faces makes me more awkward about their dirty prostiution themed teaser “movie”.

They’re also focused on the fashion part of the genre, I wonder where we’ve heard that before (cough SHINee Cough)? SM should really start to market people as originals instead of female counterparts of.

Their showcase is set for September 2nd, and here’s to hoping we won’t hear about them again until then. But that’s seriously unlikely, I’m waiting for Amber to come out and confess her/his/it’s true sex!

And I am so not digging the fact that the main reason people are talking about them is because one member seems like a confused him-she. Mind you I’m not really looking forward to them much, anyone buzzed?

(I’m aware that another name thing of theirs is to be able to adapt to any style, but that’s just so cliched that I poopooed it instantly).

Everyone keeps going on about Amber being a guy, this and that. But this is an all girl-group regardless if they are SHINee’s counterpart. It’s very ridiculous of you to say you have to see her in her live performance to determine whether she in fact is male or female. Regardless of anyone’s comments I wish them the best of luck and I’m sure they’ll make it big. Thus far most groups from SM regardless of controversies have made it big. I’m pretty sure they are also aware of whats going on with the company they are contracted by, they shouldn’t be seen as victims they know what they get themselves into.

With fame comes sacrifices.

Seriously, do you actually do any research before you lambast other people for having a legitimate opinion. Welcome to the internet honey.

Never mind the girl – guy issue. Your last sentence was almost laughable. ‘Pretty sure’? Make that almost lost. These guys and girls who aspire with the dream to be famous and sing start at an early age. They dont give two shites about the company – only that its big, rich and has famous people in it. Who in their right mind will be ‘aware’ about the business dealings of a conglomerate, when an SM head gives you the opportunity to train and possibly become a famous singer at a tender age. You have no idea how much legal mumbo jumbo is involved in the actual contracts. Most times, the families of the resepctive child sign the dotted line without the proper legal tools. That was the case for FTTS and HOT and even certain members of SUJU.

I agree that fame does come with sacrifices but the Kpop industry is different. Its a business not music perse. I pity you if you dont even slightly think that idol stars are victims. They are victims because they conform, overwork themselves, force themselves on pop culture trends, destabilise their youth just for rich execs to get their jsut desserts. THEN, the public gets theres.

The articles at Allkpop are better written and informative, but only if you are a fan of snsd. They, are “Biased” toward snsd, every other group, if they are even mentioned among the 7 or 8 stupid snsd articles everyday, are either ridiculed or downplayed.
It is amazing to me why people come to Shenyue and try to criticize the stories or treat people who enjoy Shenyue (like me) like we are stupid and need to be shown the right way to think. If Allkpop is so wonderful and better than Shenyue, why are you here even commenting and reading the “poorly” written articles? Allkpop sucks and so does sm entertainment.
That being said, I wish these young ladies all the luck in the world, because coming out of slave management ent., they are going to need it.

I don’t understand why you got so overly-offensive at someones opinion. The writers here don’t claim to have all the scoops, “gossip and dirt”, they just say that it’s their blog and they will write about what they want. What makes their articles badly written or misinformed? They never claimed to inform you of everything, and if you do read the articles, they tell you all you actually need to know.

The writer never said they don’t wish them luck but actually say they will not stay close minded to the group and will give them a chance.

Stop being so close minded, and for your information allkpop is undeniably biased and their writers don’t even check for grammar and at times spelling. Their articles are badly written where they have no fluidity at all, and if they have opinion it’s usually nasty.

If that’s what you like, go to allkpop and don’t come here. Or perhaps you keep coming here although you think the writers leave you misinformed? In that case, Shenyuepop is a nice alternative where you can see what other peoples views are, without them holding back and sugarcoating everything.

I love how the writers say what they think, they’re just regular people who enjoy Kpop and want to share the love they have for it. Why else would they be here? Why else are you here?

It’s sad how people bash people for their opinion and then try to enforce their own. Everyones views are subjective, if you can’t handle someone elses opinion then stick to the people you think are non-bias when in fact they manipulate what you think by picking what they give and claim to be a newssite. At least this place doesn’t bullshit you.
