^^ You know, just because we have a conflict in views does not mean we can't get a long. You have a right to express your opinion in the comments as well as I do in my own blog, as well as the other writers. Hence why we allow comments. ;)

I disagree with your comment regarding antis and I feel like it's a generalisation that needs to be looked in to again, nevertheless that's your views and I have my own. Hate is not a word I use, and SNSD have done far too much in such little time to warrant any posititve attention from me. Hence, why I rather ignore them than cover anything and everything on them. I comment on what I want and so do the other writers, true none of us like SNSD, but that has nothing to do with females in general. That comment to me is uneducated, sterotypical and obnoxious. Judging others only on your beliefs and opinions creates an outline of who you are, and frankly I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt only for so long. Ever heard of "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"? If SNSD had sincerely and personally apologized so many times, then I would have moved on, but only SNSD fans seem to think they've found enlightement, apolgized and have completely changed. Unfortunately, that is not my view.

Don't feel guilty for disagreeing, I know you mean antis in general but that comes from a lot of things from the culture within itself, too much to get in to, in a comment section :P

Nevertheless don't feel restricted by commenting at all, just don't expect to get positive comments in response from users if you attack. Though you seem to be a very well spoken young person so I don't expect that from you. ;) This is directed to the general reader-base rather than a personal one.

I do agree with everyone saying that netizens are far too obsessed with things like this. I really love kpop, and I like to stay up-to-date on news, check kpop sites daily, and I'll admit, I'm very interested/nosy in kpop idols' personal lives, but I don't think I have the same "dedication" as some of those netizens. It seems they really don't have lives outside of kpop :s or specifically, digging up dirt on these artists.

Although Jay sounded very rude and obnoxious, I sort of feel that he spoke like a typical guy his age. I'm about the age he was when he wrote those, and honestly, my guy friends casually use the language he uses in those messages. Can netizens really feel proud of themselves for gaining up and picking on the complaints of a lonely, confused kid? What am I talking about... of course they can. :(

Honestly, most idols don't act any different than regular people their age do. I can really see my guy friends in Super Junior, 2PM, Big Bang (albeit with less skinship), and honestly, I see my friends and I in SNSD, 4Minute, 2NE1, Wonder Girls' interactions with each other. They are regular people with opinions and feelings, and at times, they let those feelings get the best of them. I know I've acted really rudely at times when I've been in a bad mood, and I've said nasty things I later regret because of it. But the difference is, that since these people are IDOLS, they are always under public scrutiny. Yes, they should definitely be watching their behavior in public because of their positions- it is their RESPONSIBILITY.

But these idols have as much right to privacy as anyone else. They should be able to act casually around their friends when not in view of the public eye, without some obsessed paparazzi attempting to put their behaviour into the public eye. And what happens pre-debut should stay in pre-debut- on one hand, they probably should've been more careful because they knew they were training to be on the path of stardom, but on the other hand, they don't feel famous yet, so they don't really have this sense, I guess. But "“Keep your words soft and tender because tomorrow you may have to eat them” puts it quite beautifully.

I do think kpop idols- SNSD, Jaebeom, Jessica H.O.- should be forgiven for things they've said and done if they've apologized. Netizens are just TOO obsessed with this.

While fans are a beautiful thing, and are really what makes a group successful, they really do take it too far. I didn't find out about the ELF harassing the girl thing until very recently, but I was still shocked and horrified. I guess I can sort of understand, since I was a huge obsessive Good Charlotte fangirl when I was about 12, and I think my heart broke everytime I saw them near a female, lmao. But to go as far as to drive a girl to SUICIDE? Honestly, this is not just schoolgirl jealousy, but a CRIME.

And while I do call myself a fan of SNSD (and Suju, and 2PM, etc, etc), I really think their fans go too far in defending them. I disagree with some of the view of the authors on SNSD, but I think I'm pretty respectful their opinions and I wish other SNSD fans would, too, because it's those fans that make the rest of us look like uncivilized barbarians. Someone once said something like "The definition of good music is the type of music you like". And at least the new authors of this site are pretty civilized and reasonable in their criticism of SNSD.

But antis are the worst. I don't think I've ever seen this kind of anti behaviour in any other cultures? :/ I was a pretty big anti of some artists when I was about 11-13, but I completely grew out of it and even grew to respect some of those artists. So I am really, really hoping that the antis right now will also grow out of this "phase"... except it seems some of these crazy obsessive fans and antis are already well into adulthood :(

I'm really sorry for the rant >.<

Honestly this whole situation is stupid. I can't believe people actually got mad about some dumb myspace comments. I understand that he may have disrespected his country or what not, however, this is nonsense. He was young for 1 and for 2 he was talking to his personal friend. People being in his business is disrespectful to him. That's his personal space. Plus these comments were made how long ago? almost 5 years ago. I don't think he should have apologized for being himself and talking to his friend. It's not like he was talking to the whole country of south korea. People go to far sometimes and they just need to get a life and backoff.

What he did was no where near wrong.

To err is human, to forgive divine

Oh yeah, and sLaVe, entire female population =/= SNSD

Not liking SNSD, doesn't mean not liking EVERY OTHER FEMALE CELEBRITY.

*rolls eyes*

Funny, posts about SNSD here gets all you SNSD fans riled up, why do you stalk the place you hate so much, or a place labelled as "Anti-SNSD"? Problem is this was a post about 2PM leadja Jaebum, so it has nothing to do with them. Looks like you stalk the comments as well. How desperate.

Just because someone refuses to acknowledge a mistake and think they have done no wrong, does not mean they are right. It just means they are too stubborn and/or proud to acknowledge they have done wrong or wronged someone. Thats not very admirable, is it? Its actually quite self-centered and insensitive.

And you defend that, and even have the gall to compare it to this situation?

And with a post like that, you are no one to be preaching. It seems quite misogynistic really, just because you are an SNSD fan, doesn't give you an excuse to hate on females and label them as jealous maniacs. I wonder if you'd say that about your own idols?

Because it's a very nice thing for someone that doesn't even follow this site, to come in with guns a blazing accusing you of being a misogynist.

Erm... sLaVe, please use your brain and think before posting.

Because I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt, on the "honest" internet, doesn't mean I wouldn't have said the same thing be it anyone else, male or female.

Please send your accusations to the "Back" button and to whomever linked you.

Talk about malicious intent.

I do believe the SNSD thing was already addressed. :D

It's nice of you to judge me, before you even knew who I was, or what sex I am either.

I sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart, as a fan of shenyuepop, past and present, that you are a self-righteous SNSD fan that can't get over their hate for this site.

That your inferiority of having an inferior idol makes you the sore self-righteous idiot that you are today.

That you seem to think that all girls hate on girls because of jealousy, that you prefer to think that it is the only reason because you're hiding the truth in yourself. There are real reasons why they have so many antis. DUH.

That you are a sad pathetic person, supporting fellow pathetic people who live their lives pretending they are something they're not, manipulating and using people and not caring about them.

It must suck to feel like you have to send so many large and extravagant gifts to some useless 9 girls. Because otherwise they wouldn't even use or care about them, or you.

I'm also sorry that you feel like you have to come here and say that, to convince yourself that SYP is a bad place full of bad people.

Again, accept my heartfelt apology, afterall it's probably the most heartfelt apology SNSD fans have ever/will ever recieve... I am sorry that you have no life.

Sincerely,
SYP fan.

That you are a sad pathetic person, supporting fellow pathetic people who live their lives pretending they are something they’re not, manipulating and using people and not caring about them.

It must suck to feel like you have to send so many large and extravagant gifts to some useless 9 girls. Because otherwise they wouldn’t even use or care about them, or you.

I’m also sorry that you feel like you have to come here and say that, to convince yourself that SYP is a bad place full of bad people.

Again, accept my heartfelt apology, afterall it’s probably the most heartfelt apology SNSD fans have ever/will ever recieve… I am sorry that you have no life.

Sincerely,
SYP fan.
