If you’re thinking that the Korean Pop music industry finally came to their senses by not torturing us anymore with these half-assed untalented girl and boy groups… well sorry for getting your hopes up high.

It’s actually the name of a new boy band heading our way, and more than likely they will have us lusting after them even though they’re probably gay, and are really shaking their asses for our brothers and boyfriends.

The group Revolution has the usual K-Pop boy band line up that consists of six hot looking bi-sexual guys with better features than any girl they will date or pretend to date.

The group consists of four Koreans, one Chinese, and half mix (Korean/Japanese), and their ages range from 19 to 21 years old. They are from the DSP Entertainment company the same company that manages SS501 and Kara.

I’m not sure how well this group will do because the industry is pretty much full already with boy bands like SuperNova, Super Junior, DBSK, Big Bang, etc. My question is, what makes this boy band unique from the others? Ahuh… wait a minute… they do have an half and half member……mmmmm maybe that can be an advantage. NOT! And that management company really hasn’t done THAT great of a job in promoting their other bands. Also, now that boy bands like DBSK are coming back from their Japanese hiatus, and Big Bang is being a lot more popular nowadays, I don’t know if this group will survive.

But do anyone think that they can be any kind of competition for the other well-known boy groups out already?

After recently splitting up with her long time boyfriend Lee Dong Gun you would think that Han Ji-hye be crying in a dark room or planning her suicide, but no. It seems that she is going on with her life as usual. And maybe she has good reasons to.

In a survey done by TNS Media Korea and AGB Nielsen Media, Han Ji-hye and co-star Kim Ji-seok’s drama “Likable or Not” ranked “highest among programs on all channels in the same time slot”. Ratings for the drama reached 40%, the highest count to date for the drama.

The high ratings are due to viewers loving the plots between the characters; like Kim’s character confessing his love for Han’s character, and co-star “Jo Dong-hyuk’s betrayal of his long-time love over a rich girl”.

But I have my sneaky suspicion that the ratings boom also has to do with Han Ji-hye’s recent troubled love life. A troubled personal life is a great career buster or career breaker depending on how you work it, and Han Ji-hye is working it in her favor.

T-Max a much underrated (in my opinion) Kpop group recently release a second mini album titled “Lion Heart” on Nov 30, which sounds really good.


I even like the instrumental. ^ ^

Lion Heart is a remake of SMAP’s( a Jpop group) song “Lion Heart”

T-Max is heavily influenced by the Jpop music scene, especially, the Johnny groups (SMAP, Arashi, KATTUN, NEWS, TxT(Takky & Tsubasa) Kinky Kids, etc).

I just hate that they are not getting any recognition for their talent. True they are not the prettiest boy band out there, but their vocals really make up for that, they sound great live too.

Inkigayo - T-Max - Lion Heart

Their music style is really good….maybe a little bit too jpopy at times, but over all they sound great. We did a post about them before, but no new news about them on the web.

Some Rain fans or non-fans are making an uproar over Rain’s choice of clothing. Recently on SBS news a quick glimpse of Rain’s back shirt got some people really upset. Why you may wonder….well on the back of his shirt there is a picture of a woman’s breast.

Why in the hell are people so upset about this? It’s only a pair of boobs that all women have, and he is a guy for god sake. It’s only fashion people…..and trust me they show more skin on a fashion runway than what’s on his back shirt.

In other news…

Someone is copying Rain….Huang Xiaoming a Chinese singer is under heavy fire from Rain’s fans that he is clearly plagiarizing Rain’s third album “It’s Raining”. Huang Xiaoming’s recent release of his debut album titled “It’s Ming” has many similarities to Rain’s album, that includes the album title, the album cover of Huang Xiaoming half naked with a tattoo, Xiaoming in a similar army unitform getup as Rain’s “I’m Coming” video and concert, and also Xiaoming has a song on his debut album titled “I’m Coming”.

Clearly this Huang Xiaoming person is copying Rain’s style. But in the Asian entertainment this really isn’t shocking to see some one copying another artist’s work. Take Ivy for instance, her “Sonata of Temptation” video was found plagiarizing FFVII(Finale Fantasy 7), which later a court order Phantom Entertainment to pay 10 million won for copyright violations.
