Just imagine you’re standing on a bridge and you confess: I loovvvvveeeeee yoooouuuu~ Then an echo comes back: ” I looooovvvveeee yoooouuuuu toooo!” You look around hastily across the meadow, shading your eyes from the blinding sun, to find out the origin of this mysterious voice but the field around you is quiet and peaceful except for the murmuring stream. Saddened, you look down into the water below and see the reflection of your love smiling back at you….You smile back and let out a bright laughter. And then you remember, you are standing on Echo Bridge.
Isn’t this an idyllic dream? I know it has nothing to do with the artist Eco Bridge, but I was day-dreaming. On the other hand, Eco Bridge released his second album with a sweet love song “Starting Love” that’s perfect for passing your Saturday lull. The music video is amusing and idiosyncratic.
If you’re brave, leave your echoes below, revealing who you love most. (I’m sure there’s bound to be someone going ‘I love Jaejoong’….let’s hear it, whether it be your first love, your true love, or your idol obessession.)

JYP’s long-time trainee Jo Kwon, and members from Mnet’s “Hot Blood Boys” Lim Seul Ong, Jung Jin Woon, Lee Chang Min have come together in a new boyband: 2AM. Will this boy group wake me up at 2AM to find myself drooling on my pillow or sweating from a nightmare? We’ll see…
(pictured: Jo Kwon)
Many netizens are eagerly anticipating one particular group member - Jo Kwon. In July 1, 2001 Jo Kwon was discovered on JYP’s star search program and have since trained for 8 years and showed his many talents on Mnet’s “Hot Blood Boys” in January 2008. Wondergirls’ leader SunYe who has become an idol star in Korea and G-Soul who is preparing for his debut with a collaboration with R.Kelly were both recruited from the same program. Jo Kwon will be joining three other members from Mnet’s “Hot Blood Boys”, which means that JYP probably gave up on the idea of making a ridiculously large boy group to challenge SM’s Super Junior.
But wait. CUBE Entertainment is taking charge of 2AM as their management group. So JYP isn’t debuting this new boyband? You mean JYP sold these boys over to CUBE?! I’ll let you ruminate over this perplexing issue. (And I’ll clarify once I get more info.) Anyway, CUBE entertainment said, “2AM will be made up of 4 members focused on music, and they will show a variety of talents and passion that they have accumulated over their long trainee experience.
JYP also left a congratulatory message to Kwon, saying “Congratulations Kwon. You have fought and overcome 2567 days and have succeeded just by the fact that you will stand on stage.”
2AM will make their first live performance on KBS Music Bank on July 11.
Check out Jo Kwon’s talents and see if he can wake you up at 2AM.

Shinhwa released a limited ‘White Edition‘ repackaged album along with the music video for their new song, “Destiny of Love,” on July 4. The ‘White Edition‘ is a repackaged version of Shinhwa’s 9th album, which ranked 1st in album sales for 2008, surpassing the 100,000 mark in a little over 1 month after its release (all without promotions!).
Their new song “Destiny of Love” is about a sad farewell, alluding to Shinhwa’s own departure from their fans as members will start to leave for military service by the end of this year. The song was written by Shin Hye Sung and composed by Lee Minwoo. The music video was made in commemoration of their 10th Anniversary Concert as a reminder to their loyal fans of their everlasting love.

Popdiva Uhm Jung Hwa released her 10th album (wow!) today, making a comeback after a 2 year hiatus. Her mini-album “D.I.S.C.O.” will defintely be blasting in clubs all summer long, causing ‘panic at the disco.’ I didn’t know Jung Hwa could pull off her ‘Korean Madonna’ concept, but she did with outlandish colors. Lee Hyori must be biting her fingernails because her “leaked” teaser is no match against Jung Hwa. All Lee Hyori has achieved so far is to package herself into a pop icon but end up putting Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein to shame by looking kitsch. Both popdivas will be fighting ferociously for the Pop Queen throne. This will be interesting to see, but I think I already know who won.
Uhm Jung Hwa brings a trendy, disco song as her title track, aptly named “DISCO.” The music video features Big Bang’s T.O.P., who looks hotter than ever with his tantalizing smile. Choreographer Shaun Evaristo, who also chreographed Taeyang’s MVs, worked on Jung Hwa’s MV. Here’s his comment on his experience:
“getting to work with uhm has been really fun. there’s this energy about her that i love and she brings the room up when she’s in it. she works hard and her new music is dope! i mean i’ve never heard it before this but the new sound they got going for her is tight!!! i wish i understood korean man, cuz making things up would be soo much easier. hahah oh and her dog is really cool, makes me miss my dog:(.” Read more HERE>>>
The album contains 6 tracks, produced by the Teddy-Kush combo, who have also worked on Big Bang Taeyang’s solo album. All the songs are surprisingly hip and makes you want to take your dance shoes out and groove to the music. Besides composing, Perry and G-Dragon also featured in two songs, “Shake It” and “Party”, respectively. The song “Party”, in which G-dragon featured, showcases a sweet piano arrangement, and of course, GD’s power rap. But my personal favorite has to go to “DJ”, featuring YG trainee female rapper CL. Hey, “Mr. DJ Turn it up!” because this song is the bomb - its resonating vibrations envelop your senses. I could dance till I drop to this album.
