GOD I MISS OLD SCHOOL KPOP SO BAD THESE DAYS .. it’s cause of this I was always against the cross over of these kids to the States! I heard Se7en already packed and returned to Korea! It’s the end of the year Music Festivals, but this year it’s either the bad economy or the down turn of the general global interest in KPOP that caused no excitement even in singer line ups and planning!
But, just when we were bored out of our mind, deciding whether it worth our time watching any of these Festivals or not, LSM announced that will ship back BOA to Korea for the SBS Gayo DaeJeon performance of the miserable choice of debut song of “Eat You Up”!
Speaking of BOA and her English songs …
Seriously, we all know the ending of her US debut story already!
But just there, there is another song BOA sings along with that Yummy Yummy, LSM, BOA Will EAT YOUR TUMMY!
(How love between these two is at bloom, By the way!)

That one has a nicer beat and dance!

Dear LSM-y, when we said the first MV was awful we didn’t mean the second one was any better, we just meant the second one was better than the first one! The whole song and concept of this debut song is just wrong dear! Do us all a favor and make that girl debut with “Look Who’s Talking” instead before it gets too late! Not that we foresee the future, it’s just that we can see!
Where was I? Oh, yeah so they are making BOA comeback to Korea to promote her single? that doesn’t even exist? I donno people … it just seems so childish all that is going on these days .. then again another look at the list of the performances .. all I see is pathetic attempt of junking those 9 number shoved into every possible opportunity!
From Big Bang and So Nyeo Shi Dae [Music Drama] to planning to perform still to that “Kissing You” song, which after over year hearing that song on and off, it’s more appropriate to be called “Killing YOU!” instead! Man, give up on that song already, WILL YA!

Anyways, the sudden rush of rubbing the failure number on the face of TV screens is a bit odd and that is when we all know how popular they are! The proof of that is the facial reaction of SNSD leader during the Button rehearsal, when crowd went wild for the WonderGirls leader! Miss TaeYeon, the so called the most popular and successful of all the rest of the failure-9-number could sit down right there cry! You don’t even need brain to realize the obvious! It was not until her prays was answered during her solo act later on that you could hear her releasing a breath! But just to realize when it came to the real performance the PD did the justice and rarely caught her on camera! Since that performance was the total failure all together, we let you do the googling!
Back to BOA, so could it be that LSM had to buy up the screen time for them through yet another sad attempt of using their seniors and this time DBSK or SUJU didn’t get them far enough but BOA!?
“BoA and even former employees were not able to hide their surprise,” a SM representative said after they were notified of how BoA managed to make her way up onto Amazon and iTunes charts. “It’s a good start because we didn’t publicly release the song nor do promotions. It will accelerate her growth from being Asia’s Diva to a Worldwide Diva.”
Next week BoA will go around TV stations in the U.S. to start full-scale promotional activities. She will go on local radio stations, tv programs and visit music stores to promote and increase awareness .
SM revealed that they will be taking highlights from the Eat You up mv by director Cha Eun Taek and showing them on large screens in New York and Los Angeles. The promotional video will be shown every 2 minutes at New York’s Broadway and will continously be shown at LA’s Wilshire Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The large screen promotions will continue for the next 3 months revealing other various clips in sequential order.
Plans on releasing her first album early next year and having a national tour have not changed. The title track off her album Look Who’s Talking, which is a strong song but is not by the same team that made Eat You Up. The song has been completed along with the choreography.

man, i wont even bother to read that shit about the promotional video schedule up there. but then of course, i’m not a BoA fan.
ANYWAY.
The MV starts with a few seconds of whatthefuck moment when BoA is literally described as “Best of Asia” and “Bring on America!”. and more seconds to show her achievements, like winning MTV Asia Award for The Most Influential Asian Artist, being interviewed by CNN and Financial Times (and i assume the topic of the interview was about bailout and the world’s economy? ionno, im not really into CNN and FT. not my kinda thing, you know what i mean?), being able to pull the Matrix stunt (1:15) and errr…driving a car (0: 35).
Now how that sounds, America? the girl can do THE MATRIX moves and kick some ass!!
The beginning scenes of the song (1:27) seems promising, with the futuristic city and tower and all. But then BoA’s face shows up and refuses to disappear (as in every scene is about her fukin face. ONLY.),and BHOOM!!, everything’s ruined.
The song’s quite catchy tho.
It reminds me of Britney Spears. Just that i’ve never heard any Britney’s song with a cat constantly meaow-ing in the background.

Choi JinShils Suicide
Another sad and depressing piece of news has rocked the entertainment industry. Choi JinShil the talented actress and mother of two was found dead on the morning of the 2nd of October. Ms. Choi had committed suicide in the bathroom and was discovered by her mother. Apparently, one of the causes of her suicide was lending money to the late Ahn JaeHwan, who also committed suicide last month. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and two children, rest in peace Choi JinShil. I came to adore Choi JinShil for her role in 장밋빛 인생 (also known as My Rosy Life), and kept an eye out for her appearances in other dramas, she is truly a great loss to the acting community.
Cast for Hana Yori Dango FINALLY revealed!
Just as the last ounce of interest was about to leave, they announce the F4 lead characters, yet no news on the lead girl. Anyhow, earlier this week Group 8 kindly let us know who will be starring in their ever-so-special Korean version of the Japanese mange “Hana Yori Dango” (Boys over Flowers). F4s Domyouji Tsukasa will be Lee MinHo, Hanazawa Rui is Kim HyunJoong (shock horror), Nishikada Sojiroh is Kim Bum and Mimisaka Akira is Kim Joon. After all this time, you would think that they would blow us away with a high profile cast, nevertheless I am remotely interested after seeing the list. The acting I imagine will be somewhat decent considering two of the boys are actors, whatever happened to all those idols auditioning? What next? The female lead please.

That big bow and hair and wigs and clothes and….O_O
Balladeers go disco. SeeYa come back in to the limelight with a new single titled “Hot Girls”, with an unexpected twist of image. Their clothes remind me of Roller Discos, all that is missing is retro roller skates and SeeYa are good to go….straight in to the 70s. What a waste of talent really, I do not dig the outfits, the hair, the clothes and choreography, the song isn’t so bad though. Whatever happened though to the news of Nam GyuRi leaving SeeYa? To be honest, I actually was egging on the news, since I find the two other members are criminally underrated and I truly don’t get all the interest Nam GyuRi is getting. Anyhow, good luck to them and their promotions, it’s sure to do well since SeeYa are so popular.
Epik Highs new album

Epik High and their music differs from Season to Season/album to album yet still remains the same, and that is what’s so special about them. I have Epik Highs new mini-album and it’s up to par as expected with the talented Trio. 1분 1초 (1 minute 1 second) is definitely worth a listen and a watch for the MV, the rewinding and artistic interpretation of the songs meaning is vintage Epik High and continues to impress you as time goes on. It almost seems like these guys make things so effortlessly. I can’t wait to see them perform, their stage presence is always so captivating.
