Her stylist Kim Eun-hye said, “I made Chae Yeon’s stage costume with designer Lie Sang-bong. His artistic sense and Chae’s sex appeal resulted in a classy wardrobe.”

Lie printed his trademark Korean alphabet ‘hangeul’ designs, adjusted to fit the singer’s image, on the costume, while Kim made an outer garment using artificial mirror pieces and fishnet cloth to complete a ‘noblesse sexy’ costume uniquely for Chae Yeon.

The singer said, “I love the costume. The hangeul print makes it so classy. It’s such an honor to meet fans in an outfit made by a world class designer.”

There is also confusion on what Chae Yeon has said in MBC’s “Come to Play” she apparently talked way too much that left people hard to catch up! She talked of an ex-boyfriend … apparently she had a boyfriend that he was getting annoyed at how she was having way too many guy friends and got it all mistaken … and the situation got that bad that once they fought and he kicked her out of his house and let her stay outside for the whole night while it was raining hard and she didn’t have car to go anywhere! Then when finally he broke up with her … she got so hurt that all of sudden she had a horrible fever that wouldn’t go away and even doctors couldn’t diagnosed it, so they had her hospitalized and fans comment that was during recording her album … but then she thinks she learned alot about that experience and life etc…

Then she came out saying she won’t ever be seeing that dude anymore … and then talked about this friend of her that how she has gotten so close to! Netizen assumption that it’s an Radio DJ .. Anyways, it’s said that Chae Yeon has asked this dude not call her Noona anymore cuz makes her feel she is older that him (they apparently have a year difference) and they are too close that she even text message him when she comes across any traffic so he could avoid the road! She also talked about comedian No Hong Chul (28) that once they happened to talk for an hour or so on the phone! and that was when Chae Yeon had alot on her mind and he was a great listener .. anyways … Now according to an article in Yahoo Korea! Chae Yeon is having a Boyfriend! There are articles everywhere some are combining all that and assuming that this new boyfriend is oori Radio DJ No Hong Chu!

K-Pop: Sexy Stars Versus Sweet Girls

Singer Ivy is known for wearing hot pants that show off her beautiful legs.

Lee Hyo-lee’s reign as K-pop’s hottest is being challenged by singers like Ivy, Chae Yeon, and Seo In-young.

Lee sent temperatures rising in 2003 when she made her debut as a sexy singer. Many female singers have since tried to follow in her footsteps, pushing the limits of sexiness with barely-there outfits and hot dance moves.

Lee is still a top fashion icon and sought-after product endorser, but she seems to be looking for a new direction for her career. She appears in several ads as well as sizzling spreads showing off her gleaming skin and curves in fashion magazines like W and Cosmopolitan.

Earlier this year, there was a backlash against her sexy image. Her recent mini-drama “If In Love … Like Them” failed to draw in audiences. Lee has also not been paying much attention to her music career, only releasing a digital single album last March.

While Lee struggles, several female K-pop singers are making their move. Some are going for the hardcore sexy image, while others are keeping it sweet.

Leading the pack of sexy singers are Seo In-young and Chae Yeon. Seo, a former member of girl group Jewelry, who has generated controversy with her barely-there costumes and hot dance moves. At the Dream Concert last weekend, she even gave a pole-dancing performance.

Chae Yeon also doesn’t balk at being branded as a “sexy singer.” She has recently been performing her latest dance single “My Love,” while wearing low-slung mini-skirts and cropped tops.

While these divas have been trying to outdo each other with sexiness, there is another group of singers who are downplaying their sex appeal. Ivy, Lexy, Hyun Young and Banana Girl are still making waves in the music scene with their unique personalities.

Ivy may have made her debut with a sexy image last year, and helped popularize hot pants that showed off her beautiful legs. This year, Ivy is focusing more on showing her strong voice and keeping her clothes on.

 

 Banana Girl scored a hit with “Chocolate,” a pop song perfect for her cute image.

It may have helped her career more, since she was chosen as the opening act for international pop superstar Christina Aguilera’s concert in Seoul this weekend. She is also preparing for her solo concert “Ivy & Present First Concert” on June 30 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium.

Lexy is going the opposite route of sexy with a tough tomboyish image. The hip-hop star released her third album “Rush” last April.

Hyun Young is making the transition from actress to perky pop star. She looked like a Barbie doll with blonde hair and pink clothes, for her almost-comical music video “Love Revolution.” Her remake of Japanese group Morning Musume’s song is climbing the charts.

Banana Girl’s cute, fresh look and catchy song “Chocolate” is also making a splash in the music charts.

Four divas lead Korean pop music with their emphasis on sex appeal. Lee Hyo-lee, IVY, Chae Yeon and Seo In-young all came back recently with new albums. With her toned body, gleaming complexion and flowing locks, Lee Hyo-lee is of course Korea’s top sexy icon. Though IVY abandoned hotpants and long hair for a techno-gothic kind of look, her hourglass figure under tight clothes still looks great. Chae Yeon also defies critics by betting on sex appeal, saying, “I don’t mind being called a sexy singer.” Seo In-young, a former member of the dance group Jewelry, made an explosive solo debut with a style that includes leggings, hotpants and whatever else will draw attention below the waist.

Lee Hyo-lee manages to seem both healthy and sexy. Many women fans envy her breasts, thighs and healthy complexion. When she went solo after F.I.N.K.L, she got rid of her girly image with a fashion style that highlights her curves.

IVY is famous for her stunning legs. When she sings “Sonata of Temptation” on stage, she wears a kind of body glove that exposes her nice figure without, as it were, exposing it. At 1.66 m tall, she is slightly shorter than Lee Hyo-lee, but she looks much taller on stage thanks to those legs.

Chae Yeon has a lovely nose as well as overall sex appeal. It is the mole, or beauty spot, that makes her nose look so cute. Her sexy choreography is as hot as Lee Hyo-lee’s.

Seo In-young maximizes her strong point with a fashion style that highlights her waist, hips and crotch. At 1.62 m tall, she is the smallest of the four, but like IVY’s, her legs make up for it on stage.

Last April 19, Sexy Chae Yeon denied the rumor that she and CLON member Koo Joon-yeob are a couple.

“He is a senior. We have known each other for so long and I do not get it why, after a long time, we are being rumored now. However, when it comes to looks, he is my ideal. I like his nose and he has cute eyes”, Chae Yeon expressed.

Chae Yeon is currently making waves with her sexy hot pants and 4th album “My Love”.
