South Korean R&B singer Se7en’s “Palace S” will be broadcast in Japan starting June 9 on the Skypack TV! channel “MNET”. “Palace S”, which was set in a time when Korea is a “constitutional monarchy nation”, was broadcast in Korea from January to March of this year at MBC. In the show, Se7en lived his life being a commoner but later found out that he was in line to the throne.”Since it was something new to me, I had a hard time remembering lines but it was a really great experience”, Se7en expressed when asked by San Kei Sports about his experience in doing the drama.”If I were given a chance to act in a good Japanese drama, I would like to do it by all means”, Se7en added. The Korean singer recently released his 5th single “I Want to Meet You” and in mid-June, he will be releasing a mini-album. On June 30, Se7en will be starting his concert tour in Nagoya, on July 2, he will be in Osaka and on the 7th and 8th, he will be in Tokyo. Se7en promised that his Japanese fans will be seeing the same intensity he has whenever he performs in Korea.

When your friends saw you on TV, what did they say?

Park: My fans say that I’m like a star fallen suddenly from the sky. I like the name. It’s very pretty.

Many people were surprised to see you dance and headbang in Lee Seung-hwan’s concert. You seem to be a talented dancer too.
Park: I like dancing but I don’t know if I’m good at it. Anyway, appearing in the concert was a good chance to introduce myself to the public

‘Daejanggeum’ is a big hit these days. Don’t you want to star in a period drama?
Park: Sure. I love period dramas. If I get a chance to make an appearance, I’d like to perform as Heebin Jang. She’s an attractive character.

But you look so sweet for such a strong character! Wouldn’t it be difficult for you to handle that role?
Park: Don’t worry. I have many faces. (laugh) This schoolgirl-like face is just one of them!

Are there any performers that you are friends with?
Park: Som2 is a good friend. We go to the same dance class. She is a very talkative and active girl. I envy her because she eats so much without putting on weight. I think I’m rather plump.(laugh)

Name a male celebrity that best suits your ideal type.
Park: Seven is a singer that I like, and I like the actor Bong Tae-gyu. I especially like peculiar characters like Mr. Bong. (SOMEONE KILL ME!)

What conception dream did your mother have when she became pregnant with you?
Park: My mom was in a Korean style house like the one she lived in when she was young. Suddenly it started to rain heavily, and water flowed onto the terrace. Then a red-ripe persimmon appeared. She says that the terrace represents the stage, and the persimmon, me. So she thinks the dream is saying that I will be a big star who is loved by everybody.(laugh)What’s your favorite food?
Park: I’m never picky about food.(laugh) I like Kimchi especially, and I can eat two bowls of rice with only Kimchi as a side dish. My parents come from Jeolla-do, so they are very good cooks. I like everything they make for me.

What do you plan to do on the last day of the year?
Park: I will attend the SBS awarding ceremony. I’m supposed to win the ‘Best Young Actress’ award with Jo Jeong-eun of Daejangguem. It will be a very meaningful day for me.

Tell us about your New Year’s resolution.
Park: I hope I can work in films. I want to see myself on the big screen.

I always ask this for the last question. What’s the most precious thing to you?
Park: My family and my best friend. They always stand by me and understand me. And I also value my cell phone because it’s so important for me to communicate with other people. I never go anywhere without my cell phone.

The talented singer and dancer, SE7EN gave a concert “747 – SE7EN FOR 2007″ in the Seoul Olympic Stadium the previous night (04.07) in front of 12,000 audience members. Since this will be his last performance in Korea in 2007 before preparing his entrance into the U.S. entertainment market, SE7EN has put a lot of effort into this concert. Then they got out of the car, and Se7en started playing with firework sticks! Don’t ask me what was going on cuz don’t have a clue! So then Yang-Naiem excuses herself, to go to the bathroom! Yep, this part understood well! You see, this is as physically close as they got to one another! Huge distance right? No touch of any kind! You Got me? So while Se7en is waiting and it’s taking a long time for Yang-naiem to return, all of sudden he goes like AHA!( bulb turnd on!) checking in his pocket! And there he finds a letter! So unpredictable! But the question is how on earth did she ever managed to slip it in his LEFT pocket! They never bothered to show this! When they were out of the car they were not even close! I showed you the picture! right? Now if the action happened in the CAR!! shouldn’t the letter be on his RIGHT POCKET!!! No I’m serious! shouldn’t it?!.. For this mistake I give the team 10 points Off
Now this letter part, is supposedly one of those scenes that makes you cry like a baby, which never works for me! But in Se7en’s case it actually does work looking back at my dark fate! But here is the translation of what was going on. So Yang-naiem goes like:

See how much I think about you?] when we had homework, I wanted to do it all for you [Oh Yeah? Yang-naiem girl? who wouldn't? You are a genius eh? pfewwww Only if I met Se7en in grade school *crying* why? why?] It was like that. Turned out Yang-naiem is off for studying abroad (well like always right? ) and Yo, we are now in 3 years LATERRRR!!!!!!!!

So Se7en gets off that car, seems like he still lives in the palace, then he walks into a pizza place that all his old buddies are working at! He gets his hands on and serves the costumer! [wish i could eat a pizza served by this Dude! yam yam yam^^] While serving their costumers little kids (scratch that) little girls Aigooo these female specious don’t give this guy a break! So this thing asks for a signature and he is all that happy and for some odd reason they show some unrealistic affectionate he obtained for kids! see what i mean?
So he gets on his limo off for his royal duties! and there come the apart I need all your eyes and ears! Seems like Sony PSP-PlayStation gave these people a deal cuz we kept on seeing them all playing this thing through the series and it’s always the same exact white item! say what?
Don’t say a thing just bear with me! Just follow the instructions! Notice the stickers? Moving on! He gets off the limo and his Ajussi shows up in 3-years-later-hair style! I provided you with the ruler in case comes in handy! remember what I told you about the hair stylist?
One of the most odd scenes is where, there is one of those royal meetings and every one’s attending and yet they all use conference head phones which in real life used for the translation purpose! YET the guy lecturing is speaking in perfect Korean?!!!!! What are they listening to?
Pye-ha shows up for the first time in hanbok!!!

Also later in this awkward thingy! What should we call it?
This is the best part! So to make you and I believe that it’s actually 3 years later they haven’t changed a bit of this guy! same hair and hair color except added some pair of eye glasses! no biggie! He looks good in anything only if they haven’t forgotten the eye glass comes with glasses!

There come a cheesy part where the two lovers meet up again! This time during a meeting in one of those teddy bear exhibitions as you might expect! How these bears took out the power of creativity! huh?

All of sudden even though Yang-naiem sees the kiddo…. ends up not seeing him!? How is that possible? only Yang-naiem does know!

So they get into an action to get PSP back on its batteries which fell off as a result of Yang-naiem’s sloppy move! pffffffffffffff what is that kiddo think now about grown ups?!

How much this PSP looks like the ones Se7en was playing on!? Don’t you think? Yep, they haven’t even bothered to remove the stickers before filming it?! just so you guys know! I was a salesperson when these came out in retail, so my job was to handle these daily and provide he pitch to sell them so trust me the unit doesn’t come with that sticker! still don’t believe me? check it out!)

Then we have a scene they are on the shore and it’s more than clear to me that the glasses don’t have glasses for sure!

On March 15, Se7en expressed his thoughts from being a singer to an actor in the MBC drama “Goong S”.

“‘Goong S” is a drama that I will never forget for the rest of my life. In those 4 months, I felt really happy working with people. I really enjoyed the experience and learned lots of things”, Se7en said. “Through this drama, I understood the essence of people working as one. Even if I saw that I lacked in some ways or was clumsy, the drama will always be remembered in my heart”, Se7en added.

Se7en, “Palace S” pain, to recover with Japan & US activities

Se7en (23), who experienced heartache because of the low ratings of “Palace S”,
prepares for his American and Japanese activities.

Se7en will be having a concert on April 7 at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium. YG Entertainment explains that this will Se7en’s last stage this year for his domestic fans. Then on the 2nd week of April, the YG singer will be leaving for the US to prepare for the release of his 1st US single. Se7en plans to simultaneously keep himself busy with his American activities and Japanese promotions.

“American producer Rich Harrison has made 2 tracks for Se7en’s 1st single album,will be released around June. In July, he will be releasing a 2nd Japanese album. He will also have a 5-city tour in Japan including Osaka for the promotions. After which, he will again come back to America to concentrate on the promotion of his 1st US single”, YG Entertainment revealed.

Se7en’s activities in the US and Japan will spark a new vitality in his career. He will carry on a more determined outlook especially in America to regain from the failure he experienced as an actor in “Palace S”.
