Sorry we haven’t been around lately. KPop lost its flavor for a while as well as personal things getting hectic and so to make it up to you guys, here’s an old post I found in our drafts, it’s seems a shame not to post it up.

Just as I foiled Ivy’s true activity earlier this year, she suddenly pops up on the radar again with pics of her in the States on holiday! Oh ho ho ho, Ivy you try too hard…

Ivy, the girl that dated singer WheeSung (at least it confirms that he’s not completely gay), and cheated on him with some slime ball who tried to bribe her with a sex tape that apparently, never existed. Yes, sister, it’s been two years or so, but that’s a scandal that’s hard to forget. Especially the WheeSung being straight part… Or maybe you pushed him off the wagon after you broke his heart? If that’s the case, SHAME ON YOU!

Although we all believe in the “believe in self-growth and improvement”, a la Buddha, we’re going to see how lady Ivy plays out on her impending comeback.

Good Luck to her with her comeback next month, it will be extremely interesting to see what image she comes back with (sexy or manly), and with Psy getting a hold of her musically, it will be interesting indeed.

Tell me she doesn’t look like estranged singer IVY? ( Who is meant to be coming back this October, alongside rival  Lee HyoRi)

I have a strong suspicion that IVY has taken up black magic and has possessed the sweetie pie that is Song HyeGyo.  After all her actions recently have been quite peculiar… Not the dating part, but the openly dating a hot stud of a man, HyunBin, and being OK with everyone knowing.

Nonetheless, she still looks good and I fairly like these shots of her in HIGH CUT.

I liked her more “experimentative” spreads that she’s been doing lately, but she looks good no matter what.

HyeGyo, “Worlds Within” was a crap drama, I really really tried to continue to watch it/like it, but at least you got a man out of it, a hot one at that.

Ivy’s ex-boyfriend who was previously arrested on charges of assault and threat finally at 10 am on December 26th in Seoul Central Criminal District Court was sentenced to 1 year of jail and 2 years of probation.

WTF is this? *kicking*
What happened to the sex tape?

In other news, Ivy’s music video “Sonata of Temptation” (유혹의 소나타) was found to be plagiarized and the court ordered Phantom Entertainment on December 6th to pay 10 million won and director Hong and executive Lee to pay 6 million won each.

Once again, the news of award shows is back!! Only this time, it’s the Golden Disk Awards, which were held on Dec. 14th at the Olympic Gymnasium Stadium!! Golden Disk, it is said to be different from MKMF because is the Daesung award that all artists aim for, which is based on best song and artist of the year. It is equivalent to gold, like in Olympics, and they actually give out a gold medal with the trophy! It is the next biggest award is the Bonsang award, which it’s equivalent to silver, but no medal is awarded, just the trophy! Bonsang awards are for the artists that are in the final round to competing for the Daesung.

Once again, the big award goes to *drum roll* SG Wannabe, who was also the big winner back in 2005!! Another good thing about this show is that they always some how managed to get the party started with all the remixes of the songs!! I thought that Epik High’s performance was the best!! It featured Honey Lee (Miss Korea 1006) playing Fan on a GayaGeum instrument!! You really gotta check it out!

But not everyone is loving Rain right now. Peta issued a complaint to the Kpop star for wearing fur. They released a statement asking Rain to stop wearing fur saying “You have said that you want to show American women ‘how sweet and loving Asian men are’. Correct us if we’re wrong, but wearing fur is anything but ’sweet’ and there is no ‘loving’ way to rip the skin off a still-twitching animal,”…

Ivy should be receiving a sigh of relief after hearing that her ex-boyfriend whom was blackmailing her, was arrested and charged for blackmailing, sending threatening messages, and other charges. Even though Ivy has cancelled all of her Korean activates, she was recently seen on stage in Vancouver, Canada participating in a concert that was scheduled before the scandal broke out. She joined DJ Doc and Tei and others at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, where she received an overwhelming appreciation from the audience that it brought her to tears.

That’s good that she is receiving good will through this ruff patch, but……cough cough… WHERE IS THE SEX TAPE? Trust me I am not the only one thinking that.

Girls Generation is the new “GirlScout” Ambassadors-from Bellisima @ JPHIP.com

Korean GirlScout League (?), “It’s been 62 years since the founding (of GirlScout) and we are ready to welcome a new society with a new image, different images from eating healthy meals to having the best talent, and so the popular Girls’ Generation was chosen as the ambassador,” on the 28th.

As ambassadors, the GirlScout Federation says they will contribute to campaigns, participate in international events such as camping, be distributed to schools nationwide as GirlScout ambassadors, be promo models for the bimonthly “GirlScout” magazine, and a variety of activites, include photo shootings.

Girls’ Generation, “We are really happy to be represented as GirlScout ambassadors. We want girls’ images to be bright and healthy, so we will work hard.”

The elves will be seeing less of their Suju gods….well on MBC programs that is. MBC has stated that they will not allow any SM artist to participate in any programs until they receive a offical apology from Mr. SM because of what they feel are unfair pratices. The whole episode is over the fact that Kangin and other members are on MBC and a competing station(SBS) at the same time. Guessing from their argurment MBC programs that have Suju memebers on it are not doing too good compared to SBS’s programs that also features Suju members.

Edit—SM has apologize to MBC. His artists will be able to perform on MBC, but Kangin will not be going back to his MBC MC job. YEAH! For the elves…..boo for the rest of us. lol

Also in news Kangin was rushed to the hospital during the show “Explore the Human Body” .. he started to vomit so bad, they had to take him to the hospital …. there they found out he is having swollen intestine … so he is kept there for further examinations. This is just more proof that SM is working these guys to the bone that every other day someone is going into the hospital.

Sad that this is happening to him….first is his hand and now his intestines. Ouch!

MKMF turned out to be a disaster because of a few main factors:

1. Attendees and performers
Some people received an invitation but didn’t go because of busy schedules…even though I don’t get how…cuz MKMF is like the biggest award show in Korea and like everything stops just for this award show! Some people rejected the invitation because they already knew they weren’t winning so going to this show will be useless. Getting all pampered up for this show is worst than a wedding…it’s like Oscar’s night in Hollywood! Some people decided not to show up an hour before the show started *coughminwoocough* and because some people didn’t show up, some performances were cancelled. Ivy didn’t show up because she’s still in hiding…but she can’t stay hidden forever…she’s gonna have to come out and face the media one day and everyone is waiting for that day! For some odd reason, only Junsu and BoA were to perform for Anyband…when there are 4 people in it and Tablo was there. FTTS didn’t show up for who knows what reason…they’re probably busy preparing for their concert! Minwoo’s cancellation caused JYP to stand alone on stage for like 10 whole minutes with the ugliest outfit ever…its worst than Andre Kim’s space suit and painted hair! Haha! AND NO, MNET DID NOT LIE TO THE TVXQ FANS! TVXQ and BoA were to arrive back in Japan but the excuse of “bad weather” prevented them from showing up! The weather was fine in Japan and was only raining and beginning to snow in Korea but people still walked the red carpet with no jackets!! Because my friend is a crazy Gackt fan, she said that he was in Canada (BC specifically) recently for a photo shoot so he probably able to make it to Korea if he took off from Canada, even though the weather here isn’t much better than Korea!.

2. Awards
I’m tired of hearing all the complaints on the results! MKMF had its judging criteria and wasn’t just based on the votes by fans!! And scroll half way down the page for more info about the whole process before u go on ranting about who should get which award… I’m sick of hearing non-stop complaints from fans!! And complaining now won’t make Mnet change the awards around! The voting/judging process is not rigged unless “professional” judges were playing favorites or if SM really paid or kissed his way in for the awards…haha!! Regarding the “Overseas Artist Award” on Arirang, blame all those people who made like 20 accounts just to vote for their favorite artists!! I didn’t cheat though! I had an account and I’ve had it for over a year now. Arirang stopped online registrations a few days before polls closed so it was too late to save the crazy voting!! So to all those fans out there who’s complaining about it, stop saying Shinhwa shouldn’t get it just cuz they didn’t have much overseas activities. It’s because their fans are very united, very supporting and they can never stop voting!!

3. Mnet and fans
More controversy came up when the TVXQ fans found out that their boys weren’t gonna show up. They got mad because they bought tickets (and who knows much how they paid!) and stood in line all day (so they could get good seats…seats were assigned). At the beginning and during the show, Mnet staff still said the boys were gonna show up and then as the show went on, the mnet staff then said they were showing up so the fans stood up and wanted to leave. Mnet on the other hand, already had its doors locked. It’s to prevent people without tickets and permission/authority from getting in. Mnet has the responsibility for the stadium since they’re renting it just for the show. They also didn’t want the fans leaving because it’s disrespectful to other artists and the fans took up most of the seats…meaning if the fans weren’t there, the stadium wouldn’t have been as filled. But I would’ve sued them if they didn’t let me out! Mnet then “apologized” and said they never confirmed that the boys were coming! But when I watched the show, just before the show started, they had this train going across the screen listing in alphabetical order who was attending the show! TVXQ, BoA, FTTS, Ivy, Wheesung, the Shinhwa boys and some other artists were among that list that didn’t show up!

The Gangnam Police Department have applied for an arrest warrant for “A” on charges of threatening popular female singer Ivy with the dissemination of a movie they made together.

A made the movie with Ivy over one month beginning in October and is accused of sending her a message threatening that if she didn’t publicly acknowledge their relationship the movie would be distributed, and demanded 45 million won.

The police investigation found that A has had been friends with Ivy for the past two years but as they recently parted A committed the crime.

- Fantom is pressing charges against Ivy’s ex-boyfriend, identified as Yoo, for blackmail.

Yoo and Ivy met before her debut in 2005 and dated for 2 years. They met through work and started off as a oppa and dongseng relationship which later turned into romance. But, however, a year ago his frequent acts of violence caused a distant gap in their relationship.

Fantom says that Yoo was trying to blackmail Ivy with a video clip he claimed to have taken with a hidden camera. Yoo demanded money as well. Fantom reported that they do now know what the video clip contains.

A reported reason for his blackmail was that while they were dating, Ivy was also seeing another man who is a famous male singer.

It is also reported that Yoo was going around to large film studios/prodcutions saying that he had a scenario which was about his relationship with Ivy, and was wondering if they wanted to produce it.

One Topstar company official says that around a week ago Yoo contacted them saying that he has a scenario which was about his relationship with Ivy and he wanted this particular actress as the main female lead (one of their actresses under their company)
The official said that they refused and ignored him.

Just last month Yoo damaged Ivy’s SM5 car in front of a coffee shop in KangNam, Seoul.

Yoo used to model for a large advertising agency. He is unemployeed but recently was on a tv meeting(dating) show where he grabbed many viewers attentions from his eloquent language and good guy presence.

Yoo said at the police station that “Ivy and I met before her debut in 2005 and dated for two years. Recently we had a big argument. the stalkers and criminal intimidation accusations is unfair.”

10/6 Ivy, her manager, fantom official meet with YOO telling him to bring his laptop as well as talk about the situation. Yoo didn’t bring his laptop

10/7 Yoo and a fantom official met and deleted pictures of the two together. the official asked for the hidden camera video clip but yoo replied that it contained shameful/embaressing things so he deleted it and brought the laptop. fantom took the laptop for $1,500 dollars and went under computer recovery operations. then Yoo asked for $45,000 for the surgery fee of removing the tattoos he said that were of ivy. ( BS. complete bull). Ivy invested a bit of moneyon him but refuses to give it back. he said he will use for his own victimized benefits.

10/7~11 they sent the laptop to a professional to see if they could recover the deleted file but couldn’t find anything. THey sent it to two more professionals but nothing was found.

10/12 Yoo demanded for them to pay an old ticket worth $1,500 dollars and make Ivy go apologize to his mother on her knees.

10/12 ~13 Yoo sent threatening text messages to ivy’s manager

10/13~28 Yoo went around to movie film studios with a scenario with ivy in it and a “video file”. Asking for them to help produce a ivy related movie. thats when rumors started to spread about a “video clip/file”

10/28 A fantom official, manager, ivy, and ivy’s cousin were at KangNam police station under investigation for about 3 to 7 hours each.

10/30 Kangnam Police Station, the court issued a search warrant seized from the victims and took in Yoo

10/31 physical investigation started

11/2 Yoo was arrested and a arrest warrant was charged by the prosecution court

In the meantime Ivy will discontinue all activites and rest due to mental/emotional shock

So basically Ivy and this “Mr. Yoo” guy were dating for three years. in the begining he didn’t really wanted to date a celebrity, so he kept rejecting her, but she insisted that they go out, and she just kept following him around until one day he just gave in.

While they were dating, they were deeply in love. even his parents were nice to her and treated her like a daughter. But IVY insisted that they keep their relationship a secret, especially to her fan base. He reluctantly agreed, and they continued to date.

Then about 2 months or so ago, Mr. YOO got off work a bit earlier than he thought, and he decided to pay IVY a visit. But IVY said that she was gonna be home late because she hadn’t finished up at work yet, and told him to just go home. But being a (typical) guy that he is, he decided to go and wait for IVY at her house.

When he got to her house, he saw that her car was parked in the driveway…excited that she was finially home, he ran over to the car to greet her. But what he found was IVY and WHEESUNG “doing the nasty”

So he got really really pissed off (i mean, think about it, they were dating for 3 years, and they were SUPPOSEDEDLY so much in love) so he went and got drunk and went home.

Oh, i forgot to mention that IVY and WHEESUNG say MR YOO, as well.
ShenYue: I think what she meant is they call him Mr. YOO?? b/c his name is Yoo Gi Ahn.
(it was later discovered that WHEESUNG wasn’t the only one IVY was cheating with.. and poor WHEESUNG didnt know that IVY had a boyfriend..)

So the next day, he comes home and finds Ivy down on her knees begging for forgiveness. she was saying how she had done such a wrong, and that she would never do it again, and that she just needed one more chance to make things right. MR YOO got so mad that he was about to hit her, but he stopped himself because, I mean COME ONE. what kind of self respecting guy hits girls?!

anyway, she kept begging and begging and he continued saying no, and she was like ”well, then atleast let’s go out and get some coffee”. So they went to the coffee shop right around the corner. but as they were talking, he got more and more pissed off that he went and broke his car(?)

-The reason why Wheesung was linked to this because some crazy netizen remembered him saying on a radio station broadcast that he had dated a girl for 8 months and he was really in love with her. but he found out that she had a boyfriend the whole time.

-The netizens didn’t have to make a guess that it was Wheesung… Yoo practically said it was him on his minihompy, referring to the other guy as Mr. “Choi” and showing Wheesung’s torn up album cover. Yoo also inferred that Ivy played the both of them, as in Wheesung didn’t know that she had a boyfriend either.

When I read about this at first I was almost certain I am not gonna share it in public … but then I researched in Korean sites only to find out it’s all over the place! So it’s only fair that English speakers know about it too … So Korean fans in the past 24 hours been sitting down re-listening to Wheesung’s Radio interview where he mentioned that he dated a girl for 8 months only to find out she has had a Boyfriend during the whole entire time! Wheesung never said a name, but he did say that he dated her for 8 months. He was totally in love with her, but he says she played him because all during that time she didn’t even know his birthday which he thought was strange. As it turned out, she already had a boyfriend. She always wore a ring on her thumb which she told him her mother had given her. He later found out that the ring was given to her by her boyfriend. The way he found out was that her boyfriend called him and said that he saw Wheesung coming out of the girl’s house. Wheesung said that even as they parted, he thanked her dating him because he never dated someone so beautiful. He went through a very difficult time afterwards. He said he totally regrets the time he spent with her because he said 8 months in your 20’s is a lot and he could have done something else during the 8 months that he spent on her, like write 10 songs. He cut off all contact with her, didn’t call her, see her, etc. after they parted and she didn’t either except for one text message that said “I’m sorry for liking two people.”

ShenYue: I could swear to my name … that Ivy been wearing that ring 24/7 on her thumb!!! if you’ve ever seen ANY of her Cyworld pictures (which by the way … she took the tab for the pics in her cyworld’s almost immediately away!) you would know too! …. The first time I noticed the ring was back during her 2nd comeback when they had a “Hidden camera” and after that I could see it in all her selfcam pictuers, and seems like I was not the only one notice it in that program …. cuz I found recap of the picture of the video all over Korean sites today! I’m pretty sure you can find the video on youtube somewhere before Ivy’s manager take that one off too I guess!
