After recently splitting up with her long time boyfriend Lee Dong Gun you would think that Han Ji-hye be crying in a dark room or planning her suicide, but no. It seems that she is going on with her life as usual. And maybe she has good reasons to.

In a survey done by TNS Media Korea and AGB Nielsen Media, Han Ji-hye and co-star Kim Ji-seok’s drama “Likable or Not” ranked “highest among programs on all channels in the same time slot”. Ratings for the drama reached 40%, the highest count to date for the drama.

The high ratings are due to viewers loving the plots between the characters; like Kim’s character confessing his love for Han’s character, and co-star “Jo Dong-hyuk’s betrayal of his long-time love over a rich girl”.

But I have my sneaky suspicion that the ratings boom also has to do with Han Ji-hye’s recent troubled love life. A troubled personal life is a great career buster or career breaker depending on how you work it, and Han Ji-hye is working it in her favor.
