So this one person under the username: korean girl signed our guestbook, and instead of writing thank you for doing this for our Kstars she wrote this:
okay….if u and all the other staff arn’t korean y do u do this???? u probably don’t even know how to speak korean….u don’t even know the true way of being a krean….u don’t even know korean stars that well…..u can’t even write in korean…..and how do u get all this….and just 2 ket u know we koreans could read the news paper…..and y the heck can’t u do this with amercian stars??? not korean……cause i m not trying 2 be rude….but me and all my other korean friends this is gay since ya’ll aren’t korean….and it’s kind of funny!!!!!!! srry but that’s what my korean friends told me…!!!!-a real korean girl
…. Now I have one answer for you at this moment … WE ARE DOING THIS, BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE NOT! We are taking the burden from you, to help other people around the world who DO NOT speak your language but are amazed by your culture, to give them a better chance to read the news about their favorite artists in English!
We are not happy that we have a hard time learning the language .. since u donno let me tell you we have begged every possible Korean we knew for help! But they all showed us a cold shoulder! We are spending out of OUR VERY OWN pocket for this, without asking for anything in return! Maybe Times Magazine was mistaken for including Rain in their poll! Bet you and your friends have a hard time understanding why he is even trying his darnedest to learn OUR language to come to OUR country!

Lately we have been experiencing vandalism on the blog. We have had people leaving messages that are unintelligible or complete and utter nonsense. This is of course the internet and we 100% back freedom of opinion or the freedom of someone to be an annonyass. Some of these posts we just ignore to show that small things don’t bother us. Other times we may have to delete them if we find that they are extremely inflammatory. The staff members at ShenYuePop represent people from different cultures and different backgrounds and even countries. The binding factor in our friendship and what brings everyone here is our love of all things Korean Entertainment and even Asian Entertainment. For this so called korean girl to write what she said in the guest book is not only completely ignorant but again it made no sense at all. We are all used to everyone from all walks of life wanting to be American to the point where plastic surgery, bleaching, and even denying ones own heritage is accepted in order to be more “western.” She clearly sees nothing wrong with this but accepting and even adopting Korean culture as our own is somehow gay? What is she saying about how she feels about her own people? We need to be aware of how we feel about ourselves and what we allow to influence us. The staff at ShenYuePop love what we are doing and will continue to do so but also say how we feel when something seems odd to us. We would like to thank our readers for your support and your interest in seeing us do well.
Thank You,
Se7enFan
