Sung Si Kyung – Fall Album Release… Enlisting Early Next Year

Singer Sung Si Kyung is in the midst of preparing an album scheduled to be released before he reports for military duty.

On [July] 3rd, a representative from Sung Si Kyung’s management disclosed “Sung Si Kyung may join the army in March next year. He will likely release a record before that”.

Another official even stated “Sung Si Kyung is planning a release this coming September … it is known that he will join the army next year”.

Last October, Sung Si Kyung received much public acclaim for his Vol. 5’s title track “On The Street”, attesting once again to his increasing popularity.

Sung Si Kyung has postponed his original enlistment date of May 29th due to graduate school and pre-scheduled events in Japan.

After 1 year of planning, Lilac Dreams – Sung Si Kyung the first and only English website for the artist was launched today (1 July 2007). and yes, we happen to know the Administrator if u guys need a special treatment let me know ^^

Here is Admin message to all the devoted fans of the singer!

This is our tribute to one of the most beautiful voices in the world.
Although Lilac Dreams is based in Singapore, it is a collaborative effort of Fans from all over the globe, not only Singaporeans.

Being the first English fan site, we hope to spread Si Kyung’s music to non-Korean speaking fans . There are a lot of us out there – each one of us has been touched by Si Kyung through his music.

Kyungies out there, let’s get together and join us. We’d love to hear from you. Lilac Dreams need your contributions to keep the dreams alive.

I recently got into SSK after seeing him sing “White Christmas” with I think, Brian, on one of the Korean music shows last year. His English is practically fluent~! ~~He was inspired by Mariah Carey’s music and taught himself English. It’s pretty good for native Korean who has not studied abroad before.~~

He’s known as the “Prince of Ballads” and I agree he deserves this title. SSK currently has 5 albums and he is also popular in Japan. But he’s going to do army services soon =[
