ShenYuePop is up and running again

ShenYuePop went offline for the past four days undergoing a server upgrade. Apologies to all readers!

Due to unexpected traffic spikes to the blog over a long period of time, our old web hosting provider couldn’t withstand but to suspend our usage of their service WITHOUT prior notice! Therefore, we moved on to a more promising private server. With the new private server, you can be assured of quicker loading and lesser downtime. We hope you’re going to love the server too.

Besides, we would also like to take this opportunity to thank all readers for your continuous support over the last two years, we wouldn’t be where we are today without your support. Thank you!

I was doing my evening browsing in soompi .kekkeke. that I saw someone made a post with something way too weird for a title! … AND NOW *grasping for air* I AM SHOCKED! Okay people .. I’ll try to calm down and finish the post .. but you’ve got to give it to the guy .. No wait .. I am not all that in my right mind to finish this up .. So I will repost the author’s post for you to see it for yourself!

Funtwo Aka Jeong-hyun Lim - The Guitar Kid, Who Garnered Almost 30 Million Views On Youtube, his video is the 5th most watched video on youtube …

His real name is JeongHyun Lim, but he´s known as Funtwo on the internet. he posted videos of him playing the guitar on mule.co.kr (a popular korean website) somewhen in 2005. someone posted it on youtube and it became one of the most watched videos of all time. noone knew, who he was until he revealed himself. since then he´s gotten really famous and got invited to perform on various shows and tv programs.

thought i´d share this, because his story is quite amazing and inspiring. there´s so many famous korean singers, who´re trying to break into the global musicmarket with all sorts of marketing strategies and it´s really hard for them… yet this “ordinary” boy managed to rose to fame worldwide without any intentions =)

Miss korea 2006-2007 … Lee Ji Sun!!!

On July 27th, 2007 the judges announced our new Miss Korea …twenty four year old Lee Ji Sun. She also won the photogenic award along with 20,000 dollars!!! Second place winners were given 10,000 dollars, and third place winners were given five hundred dollars each.

Stars of “War of Money” as PR of Finance Ministry

The male and female leads of a hit Korean drama about the illegal loan sharking industry were appointed public relations envoys for the Finance Ministry on Wednesday.

For one year Park Shin-yang and Park Jin-hee of “War of Money” will promote the ministry’s “micro-credit” system which offers low-interest loans to people with bad credit.
The government in February will use dormant deposits to establish a W200 billion fund to finance the micro-credit program.
