Top star Se7en and pop star Amerie’s music recording video was opened to the public. A video of Amerie and Se7en recording the duet song “Take Control”, which is included in Amerie’s new album “Because I Love It”, in a studio in Los Angeles was released.
After finishing “Palace S” and his concert, Se7en immediately flew to America to record the song with Amerie. “Take Control” was initially released as a single by Amerie but this new version will be released in Asia, including Japan.
This collaboration was actually Amerie’s request and Se7en wholeheartedly answered it. According to Sony BMG, it already knew of Se7en—that he dreams of debuting in the US. The music label also revealed that it also watched all his music videos.
“I am very happy that I was able to work with a pop star like Amerie even before my debut in the US. I felt even better that she praised my vocal capabilities. I did my best in order to be able to produce a good song”, Se7en revealed.
“Because I Love It” is set to be released worldwide, including in Korea on May 14. Amerie will be holding concerts on the 24th and 25th at Melon-AX.
