In just hours, SE7EN will be hosting the White Day celebrations at Hiro Ballroom in NYC!! It is reported that he will be singing 3 songs from his new upcoming album!! It is also reported that producer Mark Shimmel, officials from JIVE Records, and BET are set to promote the YG prince in full force at tonight’s party!!

YG announced…

“American music officials are showing big interest on Se7en knowing that the best producers like Rich Harrison, Noize Trip and Dark Child participated in his album. Se7en is planned to hold an album preview party in 5 cities in the US and after the album contract has been finished, an album release party in Atlanta will take place,”

I hope they officially announce him as part of Jive Records soon!! Promotions for this album will not come to a stop after the party ends because YG has made some plans for the debut!! So fans don’t be too sad…because this boy is coming to a city near you….hopefully!! I think that the album preview parties will be held in the most obvious places such as NYC, LA, and Atlanta. Can anyone else think of where the other two parties might be held?! I’m thinking San Francisco and Vegas just cuz he was seen there for days not too long ago!! I am so excited for this album *fangirls* I can finally put the HMV gift card I’ve been keeping just for album..but it’s expiring in a month…oh no…the album better come out before it expires!!

After returning to the US after the SBS Music Awards, there is finally some news on his whereabouts!! SE7EN will be hosting this March 14th, including the red carpet event!! March 14th is White Day and is equivalent to Valentines Day, only instead of girls giving the guys chocolate and gifts, it’s the guys who give them to the girls!! Hiro Ballroom is a very well-known club in NYC and they are proud to present this soon-to-make-his-US-debut- artist!! Anyone one wanna go and give us a report on this?!

Top stars Se7en and Boa are entering the U.S. music market this spring, and are expected to compete head-to-head.

Boa revealed that she is currently preparing her U.S. album, aiming for its release in May. Se7en also expects to release his U.S. album in 2-3 months, which means that both singers will be debuting in the U.S. at the same time.

Since 2006, Se7en partnered up with top star Usher, TLC, and producer Mark Shimmel, Beyonce’s album producer Richie Harrison. They are currently making finishing touches to Se7en’s album.

Se7en’s record label YG Entertainment’s president, Yang Hyun Suk, said on his homepage on Feb. 1, “The album will soon be released.”

Boa will also join Se7en this May, making a smooth transition into the U.S. markets.

On the other hand, Boa’s album will be produced by Peter Rapfelson, who also produced an album for internationally reknown pop star Madonna, along with other well-known producers.

Both Boa and Se7en have earned much praise in Japan, as well as the rest of Asia. It will be interesting how their competition in the U.S. will turn out.

They are not the only Koreans debuting in the U.S. this year. JYP will soon see to J. Lim, G. Soul and Min’s officially debut in 2008. This is a decisive year for many Korean artists who will test the U.S. waters for success.

Talking about all these potential debuters, where is Rain? Wasn’t he planning on debuting in the U.S.?

indeed, that’s a hella good question, soyboy! where is Rain? is he busy playing his miniature self lego at home? or maybe he’s playing the cute lego between his recording the OST for upcoming cartoon “Kung Fu Panda?” this is weird .. but i’m starting to miss him.

But anyway, here we go again…all these debut thingies…we’ve heard about Se7en’s perfect plan since summer last year, then suddenly an official message showed up saying it was all suspended, and now, out of the blue, he’s going to battle with BoA. hmm..i don’t dare to expect too much on this. we’ll see, just hope there won’t be any postpone or we all are gonna be tired waiting for his damn-holy US album. as for BoA, isn’t she supposed to take some rest or whatever? i heard she has some issue with..uh…life? like i read in this Boajjang forum, some people so-called BoA die hards even suggested her to take a good rest before she does something further with her career..
